A convenient venue for an early morning breakfast meeting with a client. Great view of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and part of the iconic Waterfront. The staff are always friendly, albeit a little slow in service at times. Warm drinks were offered by our waitress,...which arrived promptly. We chose to dish from the warm buffet breakfast meals - a great variety of food, and reasonably priced for an establishment in the Waterfront. Quite difficult tracking down a waiter to get our bill - however, since I am a Marriott Prokard member, I received quite a generous discount off my bill. All in all, a good experience ... and I will be having many more breakfasts there in the future.More

Lunches and dinners are adequate, though not expensive. Breakfast buffets are excellent, with a wide variety of food and fresh fruit to choose from.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. Had dinner in the restaurant 3 nights as my wife cannot walk very far. Shared a table with other people every night. Between all of us we had a variety of food ranging from Greek Salad, Calamari,...Ostrich, Rib Eye Steak, Pork Belly and Chicken Schnitzel. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The staff were friendly and attentive and a pleasure to deal with. Price was very reasonable. We have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.More

Restaurant serves typical English food with limited Menu . The location of restaurant is also very indifferent . Road passes through a business school

Rstaurant located inside of the university and not easy acessible for commom tourists. Food and environment is good and prices really acceptable if compared with europe. Commom customers are hotel guests and university students

What a terrible experience we had me and my friends. We left the place very disappointed,there was no variety dishes to choose from l would not advice anyone to go there. The only thing l enjoyed was the cheesecake other desserts were too dry. What...a waste of money but the service was good.More

I was attending a course at the GSB and the Stonebreakers is the resident restaurant for lunch. Daily they had a good buffet selection of fresh hot meals, a salad bar and desserts. It does get quite full with all the students. But if you're...in need of a good quick lunch then it's a winner for sureMore

Restaurant was convenient to Protea Breakwater hotel so we ate our first dinner and two breakfasts here. We ordered off the menu for dinner..Food was fine, service was slow. The two breakfasts were buffets and the food was actually quite good but they were expensive...and the service was very slow - despite having servers standing around the restaurant. Buffet choices were not very appealing to us. The entrée choices included lamb liver and ox tail. Also had vegetable, salad and desserts to choose from. Child ordered a pizza from the menu that was so-so. Loved the bread.
