Stef's Table

Having missed our 50 th anniversary due to the Covid restrictions , my wife and I celebrated 51 years at Stefs. The food was again superb and the quality we have experienced over the past 18 years is as good as ever. The only negative point was that there was no visible indication of Covid virus precautions. No masks worn by the staff, no temperatures were taken and no hand sanitation offered on arrival.

I love going to Stef's Table! The food is always delicious, the setting is cozy and the service first class. Highly recommended.

We loved Stef's table. The service is personal and warm. The menu is unique and delicious. Beautiful food and the location is gorgeous. We were even offered a ride home by the owner when we were stranded without an uber.

Spending a night in Hartees and looking for a place to have dinner... Stef's table popped up in the Google search! Omw.. it was amazing. Quaint restaurant and they add a personal touch by meeting u at the parking lot then escorting you to your table. A personified touch to your menu if its a special occasion..sooo love that!! As for the food..amazing. partner had lamb rack..I had Norwegian salmon for mains. .starters was prawn tails and crumbed mussels..(yes..u read right..didnt know u could crumb mussels.) And dessert fondant chocolate...oooh so yummy! Unfort no pics..we devoured our food as we got it. Highly recommend Stefs Table when in Hartees next!

Stef is doing home deliveries and it is delicious. We had a surprise treat last night from my god daughter who ordered us a home delivered meal from Stef's Table, and the food was excellent. Thanx to Sanet and of course, Stef and staff.

Stef's Table is aptly named, because the man who cooks your food is the man who owns the restaurant, and he delivers the most remarkable results time after time without fail. This is a small and quaint restaurant, there aren't many tables and so the time you spend there with friends and family is always special. When I think of this restaurant I only remember beautiful moments. There is one waiter, and that is Stef's partner and together they deliver one of the best dining experiences you will ever enjoy. It is not a restaurant for views, it is not a restaurant for children, although I am sure children are welcome, it is a restaurant for the family lunch, the dinner with friends and family or the reunion. It is comfortable, it is cozy and you want to stay longer because it's as if you're eating at a friends house.And if you ever find you're the last people there, ask Stef to play you a tune on the piano. Unbelievable!

Just superb. Stef and Athlone still the best dining experience in hartebeespoort. From starters to dessert every course is a treat.

My partner booked a table for us at Stef's table for our first night away on vacation. It was amazing. The cosy atmosphere was perfect for the night, the music that played in the background was amazing. The food that was freshly prepared upon our arrival was out of this world. This is definitely a place I would go back to for an intimate dinner with either family or friends. Thank you so much Stef's Table for the great experience, I will definitely be coming back for that Pork Belly.

When my husband booked he was asked whether it was for a special occassion. My menu had HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHARON printed on the bottom. Stef himself met us in the parking lot and popped in to check on our enjoyment of the food. We discussed making sour dough bread and his "limoncello" which he used to make the creme brulee. Altogether a brilliant meal for a pair of foodies.
