Shun De Restaurant

Tucked away in the newer section of Cyrildene, this restaurant is an authentic little spot to grab some good chinese food and to get Yum Cha on a Sunday morning. The space is ornately decorated and a bit more classy than the other restaurants on Derrick Avenue. But the staff is a bit less friendly if you're not Chinese and seemed quite disinterested in serving us. But service aside it is still quite a nice spot and they might have just been having an off day.
I had the beef flank and turnip hot pot and it was really tasty, and my boyfriend's crispy beef was nice. We'll definitely be back to try the Yum Cha sometime.
