Sevruga Restaurant - Cape Town

….It’s been almost 4 years since we last visited here so when we saw that Hyperli was offering an Exclusive 3 course dining experience we jumped at the offer because it was at a good price the voucher was under R400 and the voucher value was just on R600. This superb-lii located restaurant is a gem offering seating on the Terrace which is right on the walk-way of Quay-5, where all the boat-rides are on offer and you have an awesome view of all the yachts moored right here and all the harbour activities can be observed while you are enjoying the quality delicious foods that they serve here. Inside seating in a massive beautiful-lii laid-out area is also available. We started off by ordering a glass of Durbanville Hills “Merlot” @ R 66.00 per glass. The Exclusive 3 course menu has 5 Starters to choose from such as Shushi, Baby-Calamari, Black-Mussels, Beef Carpaccio & a Parmesan-Avo Salad: - We went for the 1. 6 piece Shushi & 2. The Beef-Carpaccio, both was indeed killer choices as it was fresh-lii made and delicious. The 2nd course Main-menu has 6 choices such as: - Flame-grilled Sirloin/Rump, Sea-food Linguini, Fresh Line-Fish, Full-Portion of Baby-Calamari-Tubes, Main-Shushi Platter x 12 pieces, Parmesan Gnocchi: - We ordered 1. Flamed-Grilled Sirloin (Truffle béarnaise & Hand-cut Chips) 2. Sea-food Linguini (Black-mussels, Prawns, Grilled-Calamari & Line-fish served in a cream-ii parmesan, garlic & thyme-sauce)…The steak was tender, juicy and delicious-lii done as ordered. The Linguini was soft but not mosh-ii, the sea-food meats was sufficient for the size of dish and the cream-ii garlic-sauce had an intriguing lemon-ii after-taste. The 3rd course Dessert menu has 3 offers: - Cream-Brulee, Dark-Choc Tart & Trio of Ice Cream: - Our choice was: - 1. Chocolate Tart & Ice Cream, 2. Trio of Ice Cream. The Choc-tart was insidious-lii “lekka” and the three balls of ice cream had prominent taste-ii flavours, vanilla, dark-chocolate & good strawberry. We thoroughly enjoyed it here the terrace was full but there was enough space for social-distancing. Their Covid-19 protocols are in place, hand-sprayer inside on the wall as you enter. A very big long sit-down counter bar area. Our waiter “Mobaso” was okay’ ish a bit slow and came across as frazzled (maybe he was new on the job?) as his area of responsibility was quite full. They also have guest Wi-Fi available you just have to ask for the “Key/Password” We recommend this venue 100%.......

Let’s just start by saying I never go to Cape Town without having a meal at Sevruga by the Waterfont... it never disappoints!Great service, amazing food and great ambience. I went out for lunch with my girlfriends and had the Seafood Selection for two with Crayfish, pan friend prawns and salmon crunch rolls to share and paired this with Spier Chardonnay. Service was great, decor was lovely... we almost missed our flight back home because it was so difficult to leave. Never disappoints!

Thank you for the excellent service experienced at Sevruga, V&A Waterfront.Our waiter, McLaren, gave us excellent service, all the staff were friendly and kind. I had the sushi as a starter and the Seafood Luiguine as my main, and both dishes were excellent and full of flavor.The setting and location as well, in the Waterfront, gave it that extra special experience, with lights over the Harbour. Some of the best food I've ever had in my life. The setting was beautiful and I have never experienced a waiter who knew what they were doing as much as our waiter, Freddy.

At Waterfront you find this great restaurant with the view to the harbour. The food is amazing as is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and all in all great. Then interior in elegant.The menu is well thought and one can find good and delicious choises. Personally I loved the crispy calamari and the line fish. But the sushi menu is well thought and I ordered also the sushi and it was fresh and tasty. We liked with my husband this restaurant so much that we went there few times during our stay in Capetown.

I've often walked in front of this restaurant without never really having stopped...I bought this deal on Hyperly and I'm happy to have done it...The food was excellent, the quantity huge and the service professionnal.The suchi for starter was amazing, the line fish super tasty and the chocolate tarte, the way I like it - compact and melting in the mouth...A really good adress in the waterfront...

We took my mom to Sevruga for her birthday. What an absolute treat. From the moment we were seated the gastronomic feast began. We all had the set menu which was plentiful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Excellent food, great service and wonderful view.

Our first visit was absolutely awesome and Eugene our waiter was the best ever!He brought us a heartwarming surprise with our dessert for our tenth anniversary, we are forever gratefull.We are definitley going to book again soon..Food was amazing!!

i really really enjoyed visting Sevruga. Natasha, the hostess is just so welcoming. the atmosphere is so warm and the setting is excellent. we enjoyed a few meals here on different occasions and all the times the meals were just excellent. not to mention the service, our waitress Nancy was great. quick and friendly.we sampled each others starters and main dishes, cannot fault any of them. they were all equally yummy. would recommend this restaurant to anyone that asks.this restaurant has definitely made my top 5 list.
