Rise Courtyard Café

Cutest setting, hugeee portions and amazing food. I was extremely impressed. My salad was massive (apple walnut), the tapas have the size of a main and my boyfriend had a plate he could hardly finish (hake and chips). It was the first place we tried around here and I’ll def be back when again in PA. No need to even try something else. Reasonable prices too considering how big it is and very attentive service. Loved it !!!

This quaint place has a variety of interesting dishes on offer. The personalized service of charming owner Andre and his team makes it even more special. With every dish comes a new experience! Certainly to be recommended to anyone who enjoys something different, and, at the same, appreciates a home-away-from home feeling. Excellent value for money!

I truly stumbled upon this hidden jewel. From the outset the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The waitress was so engaging and friendly that truly set the whole mood for our visit. The food just added to the overall experience. It was delicious and the portions large. I couldn’t finish my meal. The restaurant was clean and very well laid out. This definitely a go-to place when in Port Alfred.

The best food, milkshakes, coffee and wine you will ever have. Rise Cafe is not just a business but a family and they make you feel part of it. The waitors and waitresses are friendly and loving towards all customers. Rise Cafe has a calm and loving setting that stops the rush of the world. They want to give the best quality and they 100% that! They try make it as healthy as possible and I love it. The lovely tunes that play in the background make it so much more like home. The prices are so much cheaper than other places. You have to try Rise Cafe. Actually no you MUST try Rise Cafe.

we often spend time at Rise..sometimes for breakfast and sometimes lunch or just a coffee or one of there special milkshakes! somehow always end up there because of the lovely calm setting ,good service and friendly staff!highly recommended!

We chose to go to Rise Cafe in the courtyard for breakfast. Three of us each ordered different breakfasts. Three beautifully arranged plates arrived simultaneously with delicious food. The schiracha chicken omelette was very tasty as was the rustic mushroom breakfast. The bacon on the quick breakfast plate was served cutely rolled up and the eggs were all done to order. A lovely setting to enjoy a meal.

Awesome food! Very affordable. We were a group of 7, ate one family pizza and was so stuffed. Also great service and excellent staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The food is absolutely beautiful, tasty and the milkshakes don’t get me started on the shakes ! Absolutely delicious! Definitely coming back ! The baked cheesecake is to die for it melts in your mouth and it’s just a burst of flavour. The chocolate cake is massive definitely have to share that it’s amazing. Wonderful atmosphere and lovely music.
