We had a function in Farmhouse building on 10 Apr 2021 but I am not impressed. The food was order per table what a shambels. People orderd first got their food last and it was cold. The waiters ariving with the food did not know for which table it was and we were only about 30 people. The waiter who took our order and we were 2 seems to either new or does not know his work propperly. What I heard and what I experienced is as far as Cape Town and Pretoria appart. I will not recommend or visit this place again.

I must admit, I referred friends to Ramkiki. Their inconsistency dampened the mood and created a bad experience. Yesterday 28 March was just too terrible. Arrived just after 12, only had a meal at 14:30, the manager did not have the respect and the professionalism to take any accountability and all she uttered was: “All I can say is I’m sorry” threw her hands up in the air whilst walking away, leaving us confused and quiet frankly in hindsight disregarded as paying customers and never returned. No one came back to advise us on what was happening why there were such delays. I can’t refer nor return there anymore. B-2cee

What a terrible experience, u wait for food for 2 hours. Hot beverages are cold . The manager comes and says 'all I can say is sorry ' and she walks away .

Great ambience but the food and service was below average. Waited for over 15 mins every time we needed something from the waitress and ultimately charred&dry lamb chops were served after having ordered medium cooked.

"Horrible, disgusted, over priced and terrible planning"1. First of all – DID you run out of space. Our table was right at the entrance of the venue (Farmhouse), so every guest, waiter and person walked right into us every time. We were so cramped up against the two people at the back of me, that the lady and I had to say sorry every time we wanted to stand up. The worst was the smoking area. All the smoke blew right into the venue. It was disgusted. Windows was open and the smoking area was parallel with the venue. 2. The music was Rihanna. When we walked in until I told the lovely lady waiter to please switch it off! One Rihana song was ok, but good grief after song 6, I nearly lost it. It was extremely loud. Then they changed it to Christmas songs. How embarrassed, the music box/player was a Bluetooth speaker… OMG!! Fire the venue manager. As a venue manager it is IMPOSSIBLE to use a Bluetooth sound bar speaker in a low roof venue. !!!!3. Shame the budget on Christmas crackers…. (Just leave it there)4. Food: What was advertised on the menu was not even in the horrible outside disgusted area. There were more flies then people. After my 2 deserts (and not 6) as indicated on the menu, I told the manager (Simba I think) that we did not even get the muscles, carpaccio not even to mentioned the salad. The only desert was Cheesecake and trifle. The laughing stock was after I told the chef (no proper hygienic attire) where is the other 4 desserts and where is the muscles and carpachio, they cramped the desserts on the salad round table. 5. The area were the food was left to dish up like a school hostel was horrible. There were first of all not even enough spoons for the amount of dishes. I found pumpkin pie in the meat. The layout was completely and utterly not planned, you could have seen it on the amount of food on the floor and table cloths. 6. There was 2 set’s of forks and knifes on the table.. we had to wipe the main meal fork and knife to enjoy a second plate of salad. I have taken PHOTO’s of everything, but then I sit here and realize, why do I need to send you photo’s. For the rate charged per person, NO guys. I know YOU KNOW that it was not even R250 per person worth. I am not sure who the chef is, but did he/she taste the patato salad? Patatos was not cooked soft. It was hard and lacked taste. The sorry of an excuse veggies was hard and tasteless. You had 2 veggies. Really!!!You definetly NOT getting a thumbs up for my first ever experience at Ramkiki. You chased money and gave your guests NO opportunity for an enjoyable time. I am disgusted and sick of how horrible my family’s Christmas lunch after a dreadfull year at Ramkiki.

Ramkiki is a lesser known jewel. Amazing location. Tranquil and relaxing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and service levels are top notch. And then there is the food. Absolutely Devine. Best Spaghetti Bolognaise I have ever had. Ramkiki will definitely see us a lot more going forward.

Ramkiki is definitely our new favorite "go to" place now and thoroughly recommendWe had a slight issue yesterday but was immediately sorted out by the manager without any fuss. Will be back very soon

Upon arrival was advised that breakfast was at 08h00, or would we require breakfast earlier. Advised management that we were happy with 08h00. When we arrived at 08h00 we were advised that the kitchen staff only arrive at 08h00 and that breakfast will only be served at 08h30, is it 08h00 or 08h30?, Notice in room states "Breakfast will be served STRICTLY at 08h00" Bed in Room 8 needs to changed it is a "Boat"

Stay away from this place! The service is appalling. My friends and I waited for almost 2 hours to get our drinks and the food took even longer. With such beautiful views, it’s such a disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, there are plenty of other options in that area.
