Platia

Platia is truly one of my favourite restaurants in the Kempton Park region. The food is amazing, and although we waited a little bit long fir the food to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. Very friendly staff and an awesome clean space with great decor and atmosphere! Would visit Platia without hesitation!

I love the renovations that was done. The food's great and the waiters friendly. Although it was busy we were able to find parking not too far from the entrance of the casino.

It is beautiful under the artificial sky, in the central court area. The food was not bad, but not exceptional. The service was good and the staff friendly..

Great place, the renovation has done the place good. It is as clean as always and the waiters are very friendly.Love the environment, feels like the kind of place I can go to every week. Excellent food as well.

LOCATION Under Davids watchful eye…..and body SERVICE Staff attentive, polite and efficient. The mall and casino was busy, but we appreciated the peace and calm here. FOOD Giant trotter plate was much larger than expected (usually it’s the other way around in previous experience, where the item is smaller than the picture). Greek cuisine was tastefully prepared and we found ourselves unable to finish 2 main dishes. The same can be said for the couple next door, who also had leftovers. The burger was however too salty, and we gave the waitress feedback. SUMMARY DISH PORTIONS GENEROUS! HAD TO PACK.  

The food was good, however some menu options for the specials was not available i.e. dessert and the specific waitress was a bit unresponsive.

We've been at this Restaurant a couple of times and it has always delivered!The food is really tasty, the service is great and the atmosphere is excellent!

Platina has been our families favourite dinner destination at Emperors,the lambshank is very special. And over weekends you get the bonus of a belly dancing show and you can break some plates. What a lovely feast.

We have eaten here a number of times and the meals themselves are excellent quality and value. Pity about the terrible bread rolls that had been nuked in the microwave and were soggy on the outside and rock hard inside, instead of warmed in a convection oven to make them crispy on the outside.

We visited the Platia, during our 14 night tour of South Africa.We found the staff to be friendly and attentive, and the food choices to be varied. Our meal was very tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.
