Firstly, the decor. The tables and chairs look "cheap & cheerful" and are extremely uncomfortable, however the actual ambience and setting is lovely.
Secondly, the food. The main menu choices; Chicken Cordon Bleu & Sirloin were very "overpriced". Not quite what I would describe as "fusion food" either.
My small fatty chewy sirloin was under-cooked (asked for medium to well-done) and served already sliced in a glass dish over "large t-light candles", huh? not what I had expected for over R170.
The Swiss Nut Cake dessert was a tiny piece of dry nutty pastry and cost an unbelievable R72, plus WE had to ask for the cream that it was suppose to come with...
The Best Thing: The staff were attentive and the service was great..., oh and I brought my own red wine...
Sorry, but we won't be rushing back...
