Excellently situated next to the Lake Umuzi waterfront, creating a feel-good space. Therapeutic actually. The food is devine and the service is equally good.

I ordered the prawns platter and food was well prepared, great fish. The staff was well mannered and friendly. I will definitely go back. They made me live the fish.

I often order the Platter for One and seldom change. The food is rather okay for an inland seafood restaurant, being from the coast I don’t just take to any seafood but Ocean Basket being a franchise just about meets the basic requirement.Thanks for trying. It’s good, the restaurant clean and the service always good with accommodations to preferences etc.

The only problem I have with this place is how slow the service is. Food takes way too long to be served and you often get ignored by the waiters. We had to wait for so long to get the bill and we ended up walking to the cashier and paying because we were sick of waiting.

When we are in Secunda for business, we rotate restaurants, and we found ourselves at the OB on the second night. Food and service was ok. No atmosphere at all. You come here to eat and go. It may be a lot better on weekends for lunch when you can sit outside on the deck .

What a lovely time we had at this restaurant with great tasting food. The service was friendly and efficient with a knowledgeable waiter. A well run restaurant and I would recommend it for all.
