The manager failed to reimburse or apologize for throwing away our takeaway which we forgot at the restaurant. This was a full meal which was never touched. Truly disappointing that we bought a meal and it was thrown away.

I ordered sushi rainbow and california rolls. The rolls came looking like maki rolls, covered with seaweed. I asked why it looks like that because I didn't order maki. I was unceremoniously told (in a rude and dismissive tone) by the manager;That's how we serve it here!!,Maki rolls are smaller than this,We've been serving it like that for 3 years and no one ever complained.And he walked away...The first and second time I went, everything was fine. This is the third time and unfortunately the last time I go there.If the world serves something one way and you decide to change it, don't be surprised if people ask questions.

We visited Nostimo often and had great food in the past. That's why we chose them to take our visitors from America and Cape town to. The restaurant was not busy. The staff was friendly and we were seated inside. Quite noisy. We were a group of 8 people. The food varied alot. The grilled calamari with lemon butter was tender and tasty. The oven roasted potatoes were delicious.The crispy grilled lamb chops were dissapointing and there was a hair in the salad. The grilled chicken breasts with the feta, mushroom sauce were nice. The pizzas were not great, to little filling and we did not all received the extra toppings that were ordered. Need better quality control when sending out the food.

We love Mythos Restaurants and visit other branches often but we hate this branch.It WAY TOO HUGE so it feels absolutely cold and clinical and character-less.Throw in bad uninterested service and bad attitude from staff + management and you have a recipe for disaster - AS CAN BE CLEARLY SEEN FROM THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS FROM OTHER GUESTS.NB - IN ORDER FOR RESTAURANTS TO WORK THEY NEED:1. GOOD LIGHTING - It must be WARM GLOBES (YELLOW) NOT COLD Blue / Grey GLOBES.2. CHARACTER - PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF UGLY DESIGN - THE DESIGN is pleasant in this restaurant BUT it is IT IS SO HUGE that THAT the DESIGN IS JUST ABSOLUTELY LOST in this restaurant. THEY NEED TO ADD MORE DETAIL IN A RESTAURANT THIS BIG. And fix the cold clinical cold lighting.3. GOOD friendly SERVICE.4. MANAGEMENT who are ON THE BALL.QUESTION TO THE OWNERS - WHY do you allow a SUCH A UNDER-PERFORMING store TO RUIN YOUR WHOLE BRAND ?? WHY no attention from OWNERS / MANAGEMENT to sort this out?This has been going on for years and declining.

Great food at a fair price with friendly staff. We had prawns and Greek style steak respectively. Followed by a delicious pavlova. Lovely experience.

I love the Mediterranean fare at Nostimos but today we were served on chipped crockery which is not a good sign. I know that its normal wear and tear, but it shows that the management are no longer taking pride in what they are doing, and this is the first in a slippery slope to quality degeneration.On a separate note, the food is consistently tasty so one can try and overlook chipped plates - the issue is more of one of hygiene than one of aesthetic - chipped plates can harbour bacteria and also can cut or injure patrons.its got a lovely vibe and great view even when its swelteringly hot

There is a nice kiddies play area which helps to keep them clear of the other patrons food. The parking is safe, the presentation of the food is in the Greek tradition, they run excellent lunchtime specials during the week, when the screaming kids are at school. Weekends will test your hearing.

The food was great. The service was outstanding. But the evening was completely ruined by the clapping of the manager summoning the waiters. Absolutely unpleasant, barbaric and offensive. I have been to Greek restaurants all over the world and have never before been subjected to loud clapping.

I had a lunch date with a friend. I did not know what to order as they have a wide range on the menu. She suggested the lamb ribs and I did not regret, they are delicious.

We were looking for a quiet or peaceful restaurant to spend Christmas eve.The Mall of Africa was loud and after been jammed I. The parking g lot for nearly an hour due to an obstruction, with hooters going and people hello g,this was the perfect choice.Plenty of menu choice,great waitrons.Great for a family gathering or a couples evening.Seating overlooks Keith Kirsten's nursery and the ambiance is a million miles from any city hub.
