Mozambik - Pietermaritzburg

Went to Mozambik earlier this month and asked the restaurant if they would be able to make us pasta.. The manager was very accommodating and said that they don't generally make it because there's no demand for it but he made a plan and was able to get the Alfredo made for us. The waitress was also very helpful and always remembers us and makes us feel welcome. Excellent service! Great food! Well done team mozambik!

What a lovely restaurant. The ambiance is great, staff was very friendly and we received personal attention from Justin, the manager on duty. The food was excellent and definitely value for money. Highly recommended. We will certainly return.

After a long time we decided to have lunch here, there is a remarkable difference from then to now hence my not so good review of the place previously. Prody the guy that served us was excellent. Five star service. Great food , value for money.

What an unexpected gem! The menu is extensive, the food was delicious, the portion size was good and the service was personal and outstanding. Special thoughtful extra touches included the complimentary freshly roasted peanuts and water in glass (not single use plastic!) bottles. Despite being located at a mall, Mozambik is located outside (but undercover) and it was a quiet sanctuary away from the noise and busyness of the mall. Highly recommended!

Been to Mozambik a number of times and always great food and service. Highly recommended. Other branches of this franchise just as good.

Ate here recently, totally impressed with the food and the service. Obvious favourite would be the chicken in hot but not barbeque or ribs thats not palatable for me atleast.

They were having a huge special and the restaurant was packed and a long line waiting. Ryan still managed to give us amazing service and the food was impeccable. Wish they had this special more often - R49 for half chicken/ calamari and a side!

Extraordinary food ,chicken well done and not dry ,prawns juicy and succulent. Was on a family outing but the only thing we felt was missing was our favorite waitron ANGEL. I'm not racist but knowing there was an Indian who worked there ,made our welcome exciting and homely .My parents who are elderly really got on very with that beautiful soul.If I owned a restaurant that would be the first person I would hire .

The food is exceptional as always and the vibe at mozambik is just incredible, the service is grand!

Absolutely love coming here. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Feels like we always get the v.i.p treatment
