love the coffee's here they are amazing and delishes, from the soy latte to the cappuccino, and the avo on toast is mouth watering .

Friendly staff, great coffee, relaxed venue for business meets. Highly recommendable. Very central location for tourists with access to hotels and transport readily available. Very popular walking tour destination with good coffee in hand.

The people at Motherland Coffee Comaony were super nice and they had a good variety of tasty options for snacks. I don’t drink coffee so I can’t comment on that.

This coffee shop is dirty cups got lipstick the floor dirty people spitting on the floor and staff do nothing a disgrace to the chain .

Interesting to see the South African take on the ethical coffee movement so popular in the UK. A clean and buzzy place to get a coffee to go or drink in. Friendly staff, nice decor and a great location at the top of St George’s Mall right where the free walking tours leave from.

we had a great coffee and cake, there were lots of staff who were more interested in talking to each other than customers, but as the coffee was good we are pleased we stopped here

The food was good but the service was subpar. After ordering and paying we were told that they were out of something that we ordered, ok this happens we understand, but it then took about 10 min to fix this and order something new. No one was in front of us when we ordered but it took quite a while to receive our food and drinks. Overall it was ok.

Starving and in search of good coffee, I headed down St George’s Mall. The coffee smelt great as I entered the small coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised when my breakfast arrived - Avo and cream cheese on toasted health bread.

We popped in here for a quick breakfast while waiting for our Cape Town Free Tour to start. We weren't sure what to expect but we were very impressed by the choice of food and drinks on the menu. We ordered the avo toast and a breakfast flatbread and both were really yummy. Service was both friendly and quick!

When we ordered, there was no one in front of us, but it still took quite a while to get our drinks, then our food. I did find by the end of our time in SA that service was often very slow at places where an American would expect quick service based on our home experience. The drinks were good, though I felt there was too much ice and too little latte in mine. Two people got wraps that were just “ok”, and 2 got Avo, cream cheese and egg on toast that was very good. After ordering and paying, we were told one item was not available, which was fun to sort out.
