A lovely latte, chocolate croissant and friendly service.On a cold rainy winter morning sitting on the covered patio watching the cars go past felt like I was back in Europe.

Great atmosphere , great food and reasonable prices. My week is not completed if I haven't paid a visit to Michaels.

A fairly basic place but very good at what it does. The pizza I had was excellent and good to see some local beers on the menu too.

My friend and I popped into Michaels after a lovely sunny, but fresh walk around the Common. The Nachos are a MUST! They are simply delish. Topped off with a heart warming Latte and you're good to go. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating which all goes to making this a great spot.

The drinks menu is vast and the coffee is excellent. There is a limited range of delicious sweet treats - muffins, cakes, date balls, etc. The staff were courteous and efficient. The seating inside is warm and comfortable. It's a great place to have a meeting or to do so some work. There is also seating outside overlooking the street. Free parking is available across the road near the park.

As the title suggests they make the best chilli poppers in Cape Town and this is not an uneducated guess but rather a decision based on extensive research.DON'T order the hake and chips. All 3 of us did this and they were all inedible. I would guess that they came out of freezer and were not fully defrosted before they were cooked. They are close to many schools so expect a great deal of noise, activity and whining!

Great menu with so much choice. Good for all meals of the day, and also for a glass of wine with friends. I love sitting both outside and indoors. Staff are very friendly.

Come here often and as usual absolutely amazing service. Coffees are great and especially like the cappuccinos which are available in cup or mug. The veggie options are limited but the pizza with brie and figs uses non animal rennet and is so yummy. What a treat! Lovely lovely space and service to be commended.

Food is very good and the waiters are always friendly, although they don't seem to know who's table is who's and you get your order taken about three times.Generally a nice local spot to grab a good bite. Well done!

I love meeting freinds and business associates at this restuarant. It is centrally located and close enough to various important roadways. The food is good though it could be better. By better I am reffering ot a general lack of flavour, though the quality of teh food is good.They could also offer more condoments to patrons and improved training for waitrons or a manager to do an involved table check from time to time. Generally good value for money and great spot for a quick meal.
