Mezepoli - Melrose Arch

I've become a regular at Meze's in Melrose Arch, when I have a sushi craving it's always my go to with my friend.They also have this wonderful Pita Grassini with Tsatsiki sauce starter, absolutely divine. I haven't ordered anything else on their menu - I just go there for the sushi and for the 2 years I've eaten there haven't been disappointed. I've also had the Sushi as a takeaway during lockdown and it's always well-packaged and sustainable.

Had a late Sunday lunch with famiy and friends. While the food was delicious, it was very overpriced considering the portion sizes. We eat Greek regularly so are aware of what to expect when dining Greek style.The service wasn't good at all for two reasons, firstly the server kept forgetting to bring food and beverages we had ordered and secondly we were made to feel that it was such a burden for her to have to serve us. Also, they don't really cater for kids, as there isn't a kids menu or many options for kids to eat.Enjoyed the food and cocktails, but probably won't go back or recommend to friends because there are Greek Restaurants which have great food and much better service.

Really disappointing. Veg dishes were ok, but nothing to shout home about. Meat dishes were awful. Dry and tasteless. Gin & Tonic comes with cheap tonic. Basically, really poor quality over-all. Great spot but really not worth it if you actually appreciate good food.

Mezepoli's sushi is always fabulous however this time I tried the grilled Octopus in olive oil meze and a bottle of Eikendal Charisma. Even though the Octopus was meze the portion was good I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Octopus was perfectly cooked and seasoned well.

Everything we ate in this wonderful restaurant was amazing. We had a variety of meme all of which were delicious especially the courgettes. They make the thinnest pita bread ever which is delicious with all the dips. You won’t be disappointed in this restaurant

I travel frequently and have to say this was the best service I’ve experienced in years. I had no more than a 10 min wait on a busy Saturday night - the hostess even made me a little place to sit and offered cocktail service while I waited. Our waitstaff at dinner was even better. I’d highly recommend the grilled prawns, but everything was perfection.

We stepped in for a light lunch and had a very tasty meal. If you go as a group, try and order different items each so that you can taste a bit of this and a bit of that. Its well worth the visit for some tasty Greek delights.

We met a friend for lunch at the Melrose Mezepoli and had a great meal. We chose to order a wide assortment of the small meze plates and the flavours and diversity were wonderful. We ordered squid heads (crispy!), mussels (generous portion and yummy) and grilled octopus (the ONLY plate that was disappointing - too chewy and rubbery, which the manager removed from our bill - thank you!). We also had falafel (a bit dry but very good flavour), humus, roasted veggie skewers (great), grilled eggplant and pita bread. Apart from the octopus, we thoroughly enjoyed every morsel, and each of the meze plates, and our own plates, were practically licked clean. A good variety on the wine list. Great and attentive service. Would definitely go back. The restaurant has a covered patio area outside, and seating inside (a bit cooler than the patio, thanks to the AC).

Excellent small plates. Lamb chops and calamari. Many wines by the glass. Service from Dumi was 5 star. Eat here.
