Malt Barrel & Fire - Montecasino

A glimpse of our afternoon spent recently enjoying all that Malt Barrel & Fire has to offer and some Spring sunshine.As the name suggests, Malt offer a variety of over forty different bottled beers, a huge selection of whiskies and a gastropub menu to compliment them.On the food side, Malt’s Platter Selections have something for absolutely every taste!Think battered chicken tenders, saucy chicken wings, BBQ chicken skewers, Portuguese chicken, pork or beef ribs, rump strips, zesty calamari, fried calamari heads, grilled halloumi, potato wedges, humus, olives, pita, brie, gorgonzola, cheddar, feta.. the list goes on.*Recommendation: This is the ultimate spot for an ice cold beer to watch the big game!

We were staying at Monte Casino and had supper twice here during our stay. We were very impressed with the menu, which offers something for everyone (I really enjoyed the vegan burger in particular). Their chicken schnitzel and pizzas were also divine and portions generous.The ambiance and vibe is great, very chilled.The service was amazing. Really a cut above on both occasions, even though they were very busy. I can't compliment their waitresses enough. Well done! All in all, a good dining experience and we will be back.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Montecasino. They have a wide variety of awesome cocktails (the pineapple and chilli mojito is amazing) and their food is also great. The ribs are basted with the tastiest sauce and so soft it comes straight off the bone.

Malt in located in the Montecasino. Great indoor/ outdoor restaurant with a great patio. The food, drink and service are great. You can get a filet steak here which is delicious and for about $25.00 Canadian. Very reasonably priced. 4 of us ate here all had drinks, steaks dinners and desserts and the total bill was equivalent to $100 Cdn.

Good burgers great location on the Piazza at Montecasino. Staff were friendly and responsive . I would definitely go again.

Whilst waiting for my son, I stopped in at Malt Barrel & Fire for some lunch. A lovely menu, spoilt for choice. Had a delicious pulled pork burger. Oh yum... attentive waitress. Well worth a visit.

My fiancee and I decided to try a new restaurant for our anniversary and made the decision to go try out Malt. What a treat! The service was excellent - we never waited long for our drinks nor our food. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was unbelievably tasty! Will definitely visit them again.

Chef Prince.. You make the best Rib Eye Steak!!!Wherever I go I always order sides just in case the steak doesn't come out good enough. This is definitely not the case here!My go-to Rib Eye steak place!!Thank you.

Nachos and Fillet with a Long Island Ice Tea and finished off with a Single Malt. Really enjoyed it.Nachos were crisp and the fillet excellent!
