This establishment is nestled away in a quiet street and can easily be missed if you are not aware of it's existence. The food is great though and the staff friendly and helpful. It was quiet when we went there, just before the lunch time crowd arrived. I would definitely recommend this place, old world charm at it's best.

What a beautiful jewel in the Jacaranda city! Beautiful surroundings, very carefully chosen interior decor and friendly, helpful staff. Had a wonderful tea and cake experience wit a delicious assortment to choose fro. Would definitely come here again.

This quaint little restaurant is part of a wedding venue so you have to make an appointment in order to make sure they are open for the public. Take your best friend for a breakfast, light lunch or tea and cake. This is the kind of place where you want to sit and feel relaxed after a busy week and spend time catching up on gossip. The interior as well as the exterior decor creates a calming effect on the senses. The food is well prepared and delicious. Try the Orange syrup cake, its to die for.

Not my favorite experience. Pretty venue but that was it. Portions very small for the price. Coffee small and cold and expensive. Pork belly was served upside down! Food was brought out at different intervals so some of our party had almost finished before others got food. Waited for 20 minutes before getting a menu despite pre-booking.

Enjoyed a hamburger with backed potato. Meat was underdone. Tasted like rubber. Waited 40 minutes for meal. Waiter came with a steak knife in his hand and placed it at the top of the table. It steamed as though he was doing me a huge favor. This was 'n my third and last time. Every time hugely disappointed.Louisa

This place is pretty with potential but my experience was not great. When we entered we weren’t acknowledged by anyone. We were a group of 8 but we had to ask for menus after sitting for quite some time. Only two waiters were visible. One doing nothing at all. The waiter who eventually helped us wasn’t informed what items were not available. There was no menu for children and a person in our group was told she had to pay for a full adult portion for a 5 yr old. The food took ages which was ok as we could see there was another big group. The food portions were VERY small for the price . The men in our group ate again elsewhere as they were still hungry. The cake slice was tiny for the R55 paid and the R75 extra large coffee was just slightly bigger than a normal coffee cup. 2 coffees were brought to the table and another ten minutes later although 3 had been ordered at the same time. The food taste and presentation was good but not excellent. With so many quality cheaper options available in Pretoria, I wouldn’t return. Not wow at all.

A beautiful French restaurant with some very different options on the menu. The food was very well prepared and presented and very tasty. Friendly service. Loved it.

Small restaurant situated across from DIRCO has a varied menu based on ingredients in season. Chef creates what can only be described as delicious masterpieces. Personal attention is given to all patrons in a homely atmosphere. Chef personally visits each table

This is a stunning restaurant with the dining room flowing onto the patio. It oozes the charm of a French restaurant. It was recently opened and the chef presents you with beautiful dishes. There is a selection of lesser known wines on the wine list, which makes it interesting.The menu is not very extended, but what is on offer, is delicious. This place allows for long, extended lunches. I ordered the meat and cheese board and was pleasantly surprised. The serving is generous and can easily be shared as a starter. The bread basket had a selection of crunchy toasted breads. There is a selection of cakes on offer and the caramel cheesecake was a delight. Well worth a visit!

We arrived with the restaurant booked for a book review, but they still accommodated us and was helpful and friendly. The service was good. The breakfast I ordered was French toast with smoked chicken and creamy mushrooms - however, the chicken was not available, and had to settle for second best - ham and cheese. The food was nice, but the cappuccino extremely weak - about just frothed milk with a faint taste of coffee.
