The service was ambivalent at best, very little attention to requests, steak was terrible and overpriced for a poor meal. Pizza was expensive and really nothing to get excited about.

Arrived 7pm, food only arrived 8.15pm, and one of our group with the wrong dish. Instead of apologising, the manager's excuse: "Sushi takes a while." Appalling.

Excellent service and a tranquil environment set the ambience for a delicious breakfast which was prepared on request as we were on a meat free Monday diet. Justin ensured that the chef could accommodate us and the meal was superbly presented. Just what was needed after a trip from KNP. Very happy that we made the stop over at Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre

Had delicious, salads & hamburgers for lunch. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

We've been to this restaurant before, whenever we are in White River area, and most definitely our favourite. The ambiance is great, service good and food excellent. Well worth visiting and I'll definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went there for lunch and had an excellent meal. It is in such a pretty setting. What made it extra special was the waiter. I wish I had got his name. I took a very elderly lady with me and she was struggling with the menu and changing her mind and he was just so so kind to her. He ended up “tailor making” a meal for her which was wonderful.

Totally impressed with Magnolia's catering for a corporate function I organised 2 years ago, I didn't hesitate when asked to arrange another event this week. Without a doubt, under the restrictive COVID-19 constraints, Magnolia managed to outdo themselves again.For three hours, 40 guests ate divine, first class food served in single portion banana leaf bowls; the wide range of dishes presented included BBQ chicken wings, calamari, a Prawn tempura bowl, a totally delicious Norwegian Salmon and Yellowfin tuna poke bowl, A selection of mini burger sliders, Mini chicken kebabs,Smoked salmon and mozzarella spring Rolls, pulled lamb on pita with chimichurri before the delicate dessert tarts and brownies appeared. Not for a moment did anyone feel that we were 'making do' in the pandemic way. The service by knowledgeable, friendly professional staff equalled the best restaurant. For the function, Magnolia also provided a coffee machine for post-prandial cappuccinos and ran the bar.As an event organiser, it was such a relief and a blessing to have the food and refreshment service function totally taken over and so well managed, leaving me free to see to the other bits and pieces necessary both before and on the night.Lovely added extras by the magnificent Magnolia crew was them, without being asked, taking over and managing the COVID entry protocols for guests and they cleared away and cleaned up the venue spotlessly afterwards. Who could ask for more?I highly recommend Jamie, Zandile and Chris for event catering - they are my 'go-to' A-team every time.

Well located restaurant with indoor and outdoor options. The food was excellent and the service efficient, warm and friendly. We had a salad, the mussels, the Hake and the lamb curry and all dishes were well prepared and presented. Good wine list. Covid protons were good

Visited the restaurant whilst on holiday in White River. Food was amazing and Phillip our waiter was a joy to have. Loved the vibe and Atmosphere that the restaurant has. Will be back again
