Awful service. Absent owners staring at their phones and avoiding eye contact. Seems like a lot of friends invited, who may be looked after a little better. Waiters queuing at the pass. One credit card machine in the entire restaurant it appears. Avoid at all...costs.More

Excellent service from Basil. The restaurant is clean. Furniture seems quite fresh and new. I ordered a pizza which was delicious. Will return for the hake and chips which my brother had. Best Italian in the neighborhood and just a stone throw away from Bryanston.

I went to Lupa with some friends, Im visiting from the UK. The experience was off to a rocky start because every drink my friend ordered - they didnt have. 5th time lucky, she finally got a glass of wine. Needless to say, the manager...didnt come over to apologise or do anything. The waiter himself was so good and kept apologising, we felt bad for him as that can be embarrassing. I am a waitress/manager in the UK so We atleast understood where this guy was coming from. We had amazing service from Martin, he kept his pose, kept smiling and delivered delicious food. Thank you Martin. We will be back before I leave. Im giving 5* for the service from MARTIN and for the tasty food.More

We eat here at least twice a month, very friendly and dedicated management and staff, good food, in restaurant fresh made pasta's. They go the extra mile!!

I had been so looking forward to going there for a winter's day lunch. Disinterested waiter. Below luke warm temperature chicken pasta dish with under whelming flavour and taste. Had to send back. The service is very friendly. They treat even the new customers as if they are dayly patrons. The menu is a very small offering but not limited. Which is good in this day and age. This means that the ingredients will be fresh. We had...pizzas all round I had the prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella pizza. I found it very good. the base was so light it was almost a mazzo cracker. I normally do not eat a whole pizza, but I ate this one. I think I will return.More

Went for dinner with friends. Had a lovely platter to start with good veal and pasta for mains. Food was good. Unfortunately it was a Sunday. We arrived at 7.45 and the moment we sat down we were rushed by the waitress to order. Felt...as if we were rushed the entire time and the waitress left to go home before we had even left the restaurant at 9. Atmosphere unfortunately lacked so we left to have drinks at another restaurant.More

Strongly recommended! The pizza’s and pasta was well-prepared and extremely delicious. Saucy pizza and generous toppings. The pasta saucy and superb - the best we have had! The service is swift friendly and courteous at all times. The craft beer selection on tap limited but...adequate. Ice cold craft on tap was thirst quenching indeed. This establishment will be revisited in the near future. The manager moves around to all the tables and takes time to enquire if all is in order. Awesome!!! Thank you to William our waitron.
