“Luce” means light – and it is easy to see why. One wall of the restaurant is entirely made up of enormous windows, so you have beautiful views of Johannesburg for as far as the eye can see. What a view! I can imagine that, if you are visiting Luce for dinner, the views will be even more spectacular!
Luce is also known for the menu – an interesting fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine. And last, but definitely not least – an enticing cocktail menu.
We had a taste of a few of Luce’s popular menu items, starting off with this freshly baked herb bread and balsamic dressing.
Followed by the delicious caprese salad! One of my favourite dishes – so fresh. I also tried the crispy calamari, tempura vegetables, grilled lemon – seriously tasty. Loved the bites of tempura veggies in-between.
The drinks are cold and the service warm :) Definitely recommended!
