Lua has a lovely outdoor garden area which is perfect for a chilled brunch outing. The service was slow the first time I came here a while ago, but today our waiter was friendly and on the ball.
Their breakfast options we tried in the past were really good. We had the eggs benedict and the French toast. This time we shared a Farm Yard (which had chicken mayo, bacon and avo) and a Bacon and Brie sandwich. Both were excellent, and the bacon is cooked really well. I also really enjoyed the Brie and caramelised pear in the B and B sandwich, it was really different and the flavours went so well together. I also think opting for ciabatta in the sandwiches over the plain white or brown was the better option. Everyone else was also very pleased with their meals.
I was a bit disappointed with their chocolate volcano milkshake. It looks so impressive but the shake itself didn't have a nice flavour at all.
