We tend to go for lunch and the food is always good with many inexpensive specials.On a good day the view to the sea is spectacular and there is always a breeze on the balcony. It's about our favourite restaurant. Paul & Joy.

We had a great time here; we had cocktails, some snack and more drinks; everything was awesome we had a great time.

We were a little disappointed with the restaurant compared to previous visits. It looks tired and aged and need of an upgrade. It has a great view of the sea with a front deck overlooking tennis courts towards the sea. I must say the food has also deteriorated a bit and not like anything we have had before. The pub remains very festive and vibrant. I MUST SAY WE WERE A LITTLE PEEVED WHEN THEY CHARGED FOR EXTRA ONION AND A SLICE OF TOMATO - maybe one can understand why the place feels as though it needs revamping.

Thirty of us celebrated a birthday last night , took a bottle of wine as they do corkage well as pensioners we always take our own... well last night they charged us R90.00 instead of R45,00 We have never been charged double because of the size of the bottle, a magnum. Might think this is petty every cent counts for pensioner. My chicken per peri wasn’t good just ordinary chicken with a sauce

This is the second time we have made to this restaurant in two years and we were not disappointed. Food and service were very good

My husband and I had a date night and wanted a casual dinner. We enjoyed a super dinner at the Lookout bar, the food, the wine and the service .... tops. The waitress was friendly and professional.

Popped in for lunch for our bi-annual visit to Glenashley. Initially it was very warm inside but at our request they soon adjusted the AC and it became very pleasant. Service was friendly and efficient. I would have rated 5/5 but we seemed to wait for an eternity for our food. However the wait was absolutely worth it! Delicious food and the portions are huge!Will most definitely visit again!!

At the risk of other persons crowding out my next Sunday lunch and The Lookout increasing prices / making the portions smaller, I write this review.Wow oh wow! As my daughter said: "They gave me so much meat!"A traditional English roast lunch for ZAR 85!Tasty with chilli sauce to add; an unbeatable deal.PS - the staff here grind and run: hardworking buzzing around. It's not seen that often around Durban.Great view of the Ocean as well...

Its the kind of place where you go to when you don't feel like cooking at home or dressing up .It has a very popular pub section which is well seperated from the dining area and although the decor is looking tired , the food is excellent . Its the normal stuff you'd get in most pub style resturants ,flat chickens/ combos and steaks and hamburgs .However they have got it right They do there job well and everymeal I've had there has been great .Their half chicken and calamari Combo is a great tasting meal and my favorite .
