The outdoor area was the perfect place for a casual lunch on a sunny day. (And there’s a fireplace that suggests it would be great for colder evenings too.)
Steaks are available in an array of cuts and sizes, and arrived perfectly cooked, with a generous helping of their basting sauce, rendering additional sauces unnecessary. You can also order them without the basting sauce if you prefer.
Steaks and burgers with your choice of two side servings (salad, veg and chips). The side salads were laden with good feta and black olives, and main meal salads - smoked trout and grilled chicken - were generous portions and looked very appealing. The burger was also proclaimed to be excellent.
The wine list includes a couple of interesting options and there are plenty of local craft beers as well as the usual selection.
