Level Four Restaurant & Champagne Bar

Stunning restaurant with beautiful food!! We were spoiled for choice with culinary styled desserts!! Teas of extinction were on offer! Loved it

There last time I was at this restaurant was for breakfast and it was still owned/run by the Grace hotel, not Tsogo Sun. Due to the Corona virus challenges, there were only four of us in the whole restaurant which made for a very comfortable safe environment and all the safety features accompanied a great service and good food.Would go again post Corona.

Stayed in the hotel( which is also outstanding) so I had the opportunity to try the restaurant for breakfast , lunch and dinner. I was never disappointed and frequently found myself saying “ best I ever had.” The prices were quite reasonable and the service was spot on. The filet was perfectly prepared and had plenty of accoutrements in the plate to preclude sides. The Bearnaise? Best I ever had and I have had lots. Same for the steak tartar. My only complaint, and I never ever do this , I’m embarrassed to admit that due to the overall quality and value, I only tried one other restaurant for dinner during my Joburg stay .

Firstly for a fine dining establishment it was a bit strange to see people wearing slops haha, not that I am a snob but for the price you would perhaps expect a dress code? Also I truly feel that the restaurant is over-priced for what you get (I found my meal to be very bland - I had the rib-eye which was tough and the mushroom sauce which had the viscosity of water and hardly any mushrooms), I must compliment the waiter as he was very professional and the service was truly excellent.

We organised a High Tea for a Bridal Party and were left very disappointed in the service. We had all ordered our drinks of choice and paid before the day but when we got there had to ask 4 times for our drinks which were supposed to come with our food. One of the servers told us that they usually bring the glass of champagne after the food is finished. Which makes absolutely no sense and despite this we advised that we would like to have our drinks with the food and had to again follow up with them on various occasions. In addition to this we were advised that they would be replenishing the food on the stands throughout our afternoon but this was not done until we again followed up a few times. The food was great and the venue is stunning but for the price charged you would expect decent service. Will most likely not be back.

We ate here while we were guests at the hotel. With reservations, we were seated quickly. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable about the wine list and the cuisine.The menu is varied and creative. Our food was beautifully prepared and served. Our server was attentive and helpful. This was one of the best fine dining experiences we had on our trip to Johannesburg .

Excellent food and service. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was also very good.

We hosted a trade lunch with a great Champagne last week at this restaurant. The entire team went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion for our guests. The wines paired perfectly with the dishes and time and attention was given to each and every detail of the experience. The welcome was warm and one that our guests will remember. It can't be easy to host and cook for your competition at such a lunch, but between Mike, Matthew and Jacques made it seem like an easy task. I will definately be back soon! Thank you team!

We ate here one night included with our tour. The food was well prepared and in a lovely atmosphere. We also ate breakfast here 2 days. Good service, don't miss the garden outside.

My husband and I decided to do an impromptu Marraige where it was just the two of us before the ceremony and so everything was last minute!!! We decided to give 54 on bath a call to see what they could arrange for our special evening at the late hour. Very well mannered staff, very professional service. We were blessed to get a great deal on an exec room for the evening and treated to an amazing 3 course meal in their 5 star restaurant Level Four. The food was just out of this world. The service is on point and elegant. The ambiance of the restaurant is captivating and well above expectations. Food is of exceptional quality, and at good value. I would like to thank their Executive Head Chef Matthew for keeping his restaurant so well maintained and keeping high standards for his food! Thank you for the amazing memories and delightful food and desserts! We will be back!
