Leafy Greens Café

We went to leafy green cafe first time on Monday 15th March, was quite unhappy with the service and it’s a pity because I thought I have found my new weekend spot, the place is rather beautiful but the service wasn’t good. The white lady who is seated at the entrance of the leafy green resturant is quite unwelcoming and rude, she would respond to us properly and give us info that we needed. Our waiter come to serve us with the trainee but left us with the trainee instead of being there. The trainee obviously didn’t know anything we asked about the menu and all she would respond is “I don’t know I am new” instead of going to ask for help, it was quite frustrating, but the garden was lovely and are quite disappointed because we aren’t sure if we would come back to this place especially with the service we got overall.

We really enjoyed our food here.It was our first time out eating vegan meals and we were very much satisfied and delighted with our meals. We sat in the stretch tent area so we could overlook the rolling greens and beautiful trees. It was such a peaceful setting. We did experience some day dreamer waiters, but eventually after 3 people serving us Liba gave good service. We enjoyed the vegan burger, pizza, soup and green Thai curry. It was tastefully flavoured. :)It was so refreshingly peaceful to get lost in the walks among the organic vegetable garden; the Greenfield and some flower and fruit gardens. What a thankful tranquil day out. I would go again for the vegan pizza

Called multiple waiters to order a drink and not one wanted to serve us. Waited 45min and we left. Just shocking.

Yesterday morning my daughter and I drove to your restaurant. We ordered our food at 10H23 and received the food at 11H09. My order was wrong, the toast was hard( waiter can confirm this). My daughter ate her breakfast alone as I had to wait for my food. At 11H28 I decided to pay for my daughters food and leave as I had waited way too long for my food. What disappointed me the most was the fact that the manager had promised to call me. She said she'd check with her kitchen staff and get back to me .It's a day later and she still hasn't called. I really love the ambience and the food at Leafy greens but I really doubt that I'll ever go back after everything. I'm really disappointed

Enjoyed the best vegan pizza.... Staff were friendly.. Lots of other vegan food to choose from... It's been awhile I was spoilt for choice.

They have recently moved to join the Casalinga side. It's not as quaint and charming as before but the tables are nicely spaced out. It is on the pricey side but the food is delicious. Effort has been put in to make a lot of the food from scratch. Pancakes for lunch and not just for breakfast would be awesome The staff too were great.

I’m sorry but I was not impressed on my first visit.Rated number 1 On TripAdvisor, I expected wow, sorry mate, not so wow! Open Green space, sure, buffet food, not at all impressive! Poor Beer choices and oh, I almost couldn’t find a table because “let me see where and unreserved table is”, but the whole f-ing restaurant is empty!Try again! Not for me...

Having heard quite a bit about this Cafe, I was eager to try it out. What a disappointment! Waitress only gave us a drinks menu, took our drinks order and was no where to be seen after. Drinks brought through by staff who made it. Top marks for the drinks, it was delicious. We were put off to even attempt the buffet as hygiene was lacking overall. We had to flag passing by staff to enquire about the process for getting meals. If I am feeling generous in future I will go for the drinks and order food off menu (as this can be done in the week only).

What an absolutely amazing date out. Just the ambiance on its own makes you feel like you are no where near Gauteng! Beautiful greenery everywhere, soft sounds of nature all of which add to the experience of the meal.The food was mind blowing and certainly unexpected. Full of flavour and guilt free, two things I never thought I could experience.The Chocolate Orange Cheesecake! Have you ever had a sweet treat so delicious and didn't have to wonder about the weight gain??After having our lunch we took a serene and calming walk through their vegetable gardens. Certainly one worth trying out for a day out.I would go back in a heart beat!

Have been twice in the last four weeks.Quality of food has dropped. A rating of average is generous,Compared to the past it gives the impression of a business where an ownerincreasingly delegates to persons who lack the culinary skills and culture to keep the level up...AND who forgot about the importance of and need to control..Hygiene is also questionable. The bread at the buffet used to be covered with a cloth to prevent patrons from laying their hands directly on the bread while cutting. It is no longer the case even though I made a comment on the first of our last two visits. If this is no part of basic hygiene, what else is not part of basic hygiene....?Service remains goods, value used to be good to very good but it is unfortunately no longer the case.
