Wonderful, peaceful setting. Am absolute taste sensation.delivered on every plate. Outstanding service. Complemented by a really great La Petite Ferme Shiraz.

Janine served us and her service was exceptional, as always. The food was good but not great. For starters, the soup, potato and leek could have fed 6 people, ravioli was ok, the Beef Wellington itself was great but the accompaniments could have been simpler, the pulled lamb was mediocre. The Malva pudding was excellent and the cheese cake was good. The wines are good. The views of course are outstanding and tend to draw us back!

What a beautiful setting but unfortunately an appalling lunch. I honestly don't feel like a real chef was anywhere near the kitchen. Uninspiring bland food. Won't be back!

What an amazing lunch we had at Le Petit Ferme today.From the time we got there we were treated like Royalty until we left. Chef Kyle came over and explained to us the Set Menu. Such an amazing guy.With every meal we could taste the love and passion that goes into every single dish. Thank you Chef Kyle and your team.Spending about 5 hours on this farm was just spectacular

Took Chef Kyle's recommendation on the oxtail - absolutely superb. Finished the two course (R275) with delectable chocolate mousse cake.

If you're heading to the Winelands, do yourself a favour and reserve a table at La Petite Ferme. Wondrous views aside, the restaurant experience was one I will remember for a long time as it is as much a feast for the eyes, as it is for the mouth.My starter of Beetroot and Goats Cheese encrusted in sesame seeds, with delicious pops of gooseberry purée, dehydrated pineapple and tequila and lime salt and was a riot of flavour and colour. Mains of grilled sole, crunchy polenta cubes and roasted veg were cooked to perfection and served with the most delicious Cape Malay coconut cream sauce known to man. Despite having no space left for dessert, my charming waiter talked me into it, and wow am I glad he did. Saved the best for last!! Their take on vegan pavlova - a rose flavoured meringue (yip, no egg was used in creating this little masterpiece), with poached plum and a dairy free plum ice-cream, sprinkled with coconut macaron dust and dressed with candied rose petal. The foodie in me was in heaven, each morsel a taste sensation. My friend had their soup of the day - tomato and celery - tasted it and absolutely delicious. For mains she had kingklip and for dessert, their carrot cake creation. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal, I was far too busy drooling over mine to pay too much attention to the detail of hers. The talented chef and his team happily accommodated my (numerous) food allergies and intolerances and adjusted the dishes accordingly. Lastly, our wine of choice was the Baboon Rock Rosé. Sublime is an accurate summation. Will return to this beautiful establishment in a heartbeat.

Two of us had lunch here on Sunday 31st January. We booked after seeing the chef and restaurant on British television - ITV channel, "South Africa with Gregg Wallace".We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table in a glass covered outdoor terrace. There were lovely views over the Franschhoek Valley.At the time of our visit sales of alcohol were banned by the SA government so we drank sparkling water. Our waiter Reza was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We each had three courses.For starters we chose potato and leek soup and goats cheese. Both accompanied by delicious, freshly made bread and salt.Our mains were fish and heritage lamb. We left absolutely nothing. All items were perfectly cooked and decorated.We chose raspberry coconut layers and plum pavlova for dessert. Again delicious.We mentioned to Reza, our waiter, that we had seen the chef Kyle Norris on TV. He came and introduced himself and then let us look inside the kitchen. A delightful ending to a wonderful meal.We will definitely return.

La Petite Ferme are offering very good packages which are excellent value for money . Accommodation & setting beautiful . Thank you Janine for very good service & welcome . Shout out to the chef who produced an outstanding dinner & breakfast . We tried there wines which were also very good . Can recommend a stay when you are in the area . Will definitely be back

This place used to be so amazing but WOW it changed! Came here 5 years ago and was amazed, this time it hurt me inside when I had to pay for that crap..Food felt like a mass production you find a cheap Mexican all inclusive. Dessert almost inedible..The view is still amazing and waiter was nice bit that's it.Should have just left when we were greeted by the hostess and her first sentence was.'You are 14 minutes late! I tried calling youseveral times I have to see if I have a table now...(Btw was 4 other tables there and about 15 tables free...)There are soooooooo many nice places around. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else...

A wonderful Sunday lunch with the family. Amazing view over Franschhoek valley and amazing food! Compliments to the Chef and the kitchen staff!! Will definitely visit again.
