La Casa Nostra

We are on holliday with our grandchildren in Umdloti so visiting restaurants for dinner is challenging and clashes with their early bedtime. Luckily we discovered La Pizza Nostra take away service . Food excellent( Sea food and pizza and pasta) arrived hot and ahead of schedule . If take aways are this good will definitely plan a sit down soon

Small Italian restaurant that serves the best Italian food on the coast! Quality and service never disappoints- Very well run by Rahul! Proper Illy coffee, thin crusted pizzas, and best flash fried calamari ever!Can’t wait for next visit!

The Pizza was delicious, just like it's served in Italy with a crispy thin base. The service received from Charles was excellent and attentive. A most enjoyable lunch in Umhlodti. Thank you so much.

Casa Nostra has finally passed the tipping point of being overpriced for the meals on offer. Specifically their pizzas, selection of which is limited and the toppings mediocre. At R159 for a Regina one, would expect imported prosciutto cotto and not black forest ham, but alas. Pizzas are no better/worse than Lupa or Marcos. 4 Italian kisses for R80 and an affogato (scoop of ice cream with an espresso) for R90 is not worth the effort.

We decided to get some takeout and after looking around we decided to try La Casa Nostra, ordered a porchetta pizza and 2 calamari fritti, the pizza was fantastic but the calamari was the best I have ever had , and when I say best I mean in over 20 countries that I have had calamari in. My only regret was we discovered this gem of a place on our last night in umdloti, else would have eaten here every night . Will definitely come back for a sit down meal when I am back in KZN again.

Great Italian fair in in Italian style restaurant. Well worth seeking it out just off the main drag.

Wonderful dinner! Our waitress Sindi was fabulous! She went over and above to make our dining experience amazing!

We live in Umdloti and we always love our frequent visits to La Casa Nostra. Roland, Rachel and all the staff at La Casa Nostra go out of their way to make your evening enjoyable and comfortable. All the food is top class and you can’t beat it! Our young girls age 9 and 11 also love the food. We have been enjoying La Casa Nostra food since 2000. Which says something in itself.

We couldn't not find any fault with the all our dishes. Service from Cindy was perfect. The set up with the resturant and waiters was perfect. Thank you Roland for your hospitality

We were shocked how great was the service and how delicious were dishes (lasagne and piazza). Starter was perfect and time of waiting for the main course very short. We wish to visit such grat restaurants in Europe! Prices were very affordable.
