“Date night with the missus.”
An excellent experience in all aspects - food, service, ambience. Waitress was supportive, helpful and had a great sense of humor.

“See you soon again!!”
Lovely experience We were there with friends - ended all up having a pizza and it was all delicious. The waitress Marisa was also amazing, attentive and very nice! Will be back soon!! Very well worth the stop!

“Terrible can not explain how bad it was”
This will go down as the worst pizzas i have ever ordered. Pizza’s under cooked and disgusting. As example order a Margherita pizza with olives and capers. Firstly spot the cheese was the experience, then you will look for some lonely capers and olives. WOW what a disappointment. I shall stop here as it does not justify wasting my time. Only one recommendation, stay away.

“Great food and excellent service!”

“SENSATIONAL RESTAURANT!”
Sensational restaurant! Food is amazing! We ate here every night for three nights. We tried many dishes on the menu and the quality was just incredible! Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot rate a restaurant higher than this. If you are in George don’t miss it!

“Always a pleasure”
When visiting George you must have a meal here. We have never been disappointed in over 10 years of visiting La Capannina. We always make sure we have at least one meal here when in the area. Today was again excellent.

“Still awesome 15 years later”
My husband has always told me about "the restaurant with the GREAT pizzas in George". He hasn't been here for 15 years. Today we popped in for a quick visit. Still great. The pizzas are immaculate and served by friendly staff. Really worth a visit.

“Always a favourite”
We visit regularly and are never disappointed... my favourites are seared tuna, and their risotto dishes, but everything we've ever ordered has been lovely. The staff are incredible.

“Stay away”
It is sad that a once excellent restaurant can degrade to a second hand cafe. The food was average to poor, the service good and only two tables were occupied.I know that one should not eat in empty restaurants, but it was unimaginable to me that it could become so bad since our last visit that I did not listen to my eyes.One of us is suffering today from diarrhoea from the steak he had.Goodbye and good riddance.

It is not our style to respond to reviews as follows, we do believe that the customer is always right. However in this instance we take the right to defend our establishment from individuals who are unfair and take it upon themselves to attempt harming a business, possibly for their personal amusement. We are baffled that you found our food average to poor and did not relay this to the waitress who asked you if everything was to your liking. “Arguably one of the best lunches”
Arguably one of the best lunches I have had in years, my chicken parmigiana and my wife’s seafood risotto was full of taste and the owners personal attention to detail shows.
