KEG & Beagle

Went in for a few drinks mid afternoon. Grant our waiter was attentive and sorted our orders quickly. Our meal order was simple as we all had the fish and chips. The hake was flaky and moist and the batter was tasty and not to thick. A pleasant afternoon. This is a typical Keg with the standard menu. Its a little hidden away if you don't know the area around the back and below the shopping centre. They apparently have live music later on but we didn't stay for that

What a yummy scrummy satisfying Sunday lunch with all the trimmings! I opted for the lamb spit braai which came with an assortment of delicious veg, salad ,sauces and even a Yorkshire pudding ! I had a very delicious cold pint of Guinness beer and we even done some wine tasting too ! Ended up being a fab unplanned afternoon :) thanks guys!

We were going to have a few beers and snacks after a recent meeting but ended up leaving after the first round of beers. We were shown to seats so staff knew we were there but then waited for about 10 minutes before anyone served us. We also asked for a food menu. This never arrived.The snack baskets looked good but due to poor service we never got a chance to try them.The 3 draughts took forever and the waiter told us there was a problem with the barrel. By mutual agreements we decided to call it a day and didn't follow through with the snacks and another round.

Stay away, there are much better places to go in this area then keg and beagle. The service is beyond bad especially when they are having their quiz nights. You will wait over an hour for a drink so i wont elaborate on the time you wait for your food to arrive. The food itself isnt great, quite greasy and tasteless. We were even charged for drinks we didnt have. Really not great !!!

Needed to catch up with a key supplier, easy to find just off the highway, plenty of secure parking and best of all cold beer on tap served by the excellent team of Chris and Yolanda. Great choice for pub meeting and greet.

Great place to hang out for a good pub experience. Noisy good vibe watch some sport and down a cold draft. Exactly what you’d expect from your local.

We love the Keg and their food and service is always very good. The staff and manager is also accommodating and efficient. Entertainment is also available on certain evenings but you should chose your table strategically because you could end up sitting next to the speakers on Karaoke night and you won’t be able to hear your mates.

This is a gem hidden at the rear of the Linksfield shopping centre. We have been here twice and have not been disappointed. Service is a little slow but there is a great vibe. On both Saturdays that we have been there they have had live music (sit on the deck if you are not a fan, the music can get quite loud). There should be a separate area for smokers though. The bathrooms are also in need of maintenance. Food is very good and not your standard pub grub. We had kofta and the burger trio, both dishes were enjoyable. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side so stick to beer or soft drinks. Hopefully they will consider putting up a roof over the deck soon.

Great night out at the pub . Service is very slow , but the food is great. There are local comedians as entertainment sometimes and a local band on other days . Definately going to be a regular there.
