Jaxx Restaurant - Hilton

if you are keen on healthy and fresh food, then Jaxx Hilton wont disappoint. We have been going there for years and it has become the safe, dependable go-to chocie for us.. There are dishes on the menu that have become our favorites and the food is always constant and great. The friendly and keen service is an added bonus.

Was drawn in on a misty evening due to the roaring log fire. Lovely quaint restaurant that has a menu that caters to everyones taste. Had the lamb curry and sous chef chicken. Both meals were tasty and well cooked. Ample helpings and beautifully plated. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Definitely a go to place.

We decided to give Jaxx a try this past weekend and we were not disappointed. They offer a great menu and we really had to think hard about our choices. The food was excellent and we were quite happy with the service received.

3 very different meals and all excellent, so reasonably priced for great tasty quality food. Menu very varied from the norm.

I absolutely love Jaxx. Nice venue. Friendly staff. Pet friendly outside. And the mezzo platter .... yum. Each time I go (and I’ve been there 7 times in the last 6 months) I tell myself to choose something else but the mezzo wins. I can also say that my companions have all loved their meals. Best pizza in the coast.

The food was aweful, calamari like rubber. We were a party of 6 and NOBODY was happy with the food, Thai chicken curry was a congeled blob of something colourless. Wont hurry back there ever again. Its not like it used to be at all. Dreadful

Went for a quick lunch. Husband ordered Thai chicken curry and I ordered the spicy chicken livers in a creamy red wine sauce served with ciabatta. Was some time before waitress came back to us to say they had run out of ciabatta. They have open sandwiches on their menu all served on ciabatta which would be a popular lunch choice I would think and this was 12.55pm. With Woolworths food directly across from the restaurant. I enquired why they couldn't get from there and the waitress told me the queue to pay was very long! No forward planning. My livers eventually arrived with health bread but there was absolutely no creamy sauce just overpowered by red wine. Perhaps I made the wrong choice. Then we ordered 2 Americano coffees with cold milk. They arrived as 2 black coffees with no milk. At least they didn't charge us for the livers but we won't be going back there in a hurry.

The Coffee made by Jaxx is always delicious although they have run out of several hot beverages on my last visit. My favourite pasta dish was a major let down on my last visit with barely any ingredients available.

I was very impressed by their diverse menu. The staff was very friendly and they have a little park for kids where they can play

I have been at Jaxx a number of times now and given that it has a new management was a good reason to return. Maybe the service has become a little bit slower but quality is still really good! The menu has changed (like no longer lam burger) but the beef filet I had and the pasta with chicken for my companion were very well prepared. To be regretted is that they have a very limited list of wine and beer.
