Izakaya Arata Ramen & Robata

A wonderful new addition to the menu is the sushi! Really tasty; interesting combinations! Izikaya Arata has become my go-to restaurant! Thank you for good food and service!

I have been to Izakaya Arata twice now and have enjoyed it both times.The authentic Japanese food is tasty and I am enjoying discovering new items each time I go there.I will definitely be going again.The service is decent and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is set up to look like a traditional Japanese establishment with a simple yet welcoming feel to it.I don't have any complaints I am very glad I was brave enough to try something new. I don't regret it at all.You may need to book on Fridays as they get quite busy.

Best Ramen I have ever had! Amazing chef, excellent services and a genuine ambiance. 5/5 experience everytime! And that’s saying a lot because I go there once a month!!!

I visited Isakaya Arata in January for the first time and ordered the non spicy raman... well... it was simply delicious! My pork belly was done to perfection, the serving was substantial and filled me to the brim. The atmosphere is laid back and casual and their menu is probably THE best value for money ever!!! I will definitely be back soon.

We drove past the place many times, didn't have any impressions of the place from driving past. On Monday night I met a cousin who was down from Johannesburg, we ended up at Izakaya Arata after realising that our first choice of eatery was full and didn't have any tables available. We were blown away. The entire experience was incredible, from the great staff service to the ambiance (perfect mood and setting) and of course the amazing Japanese food. The staff were just on point, such professionals. Dishes of note were the skewers, the chicken, beef and fish were great, calamari tentacles perfect. The trio of green tea, Wasabi and ginger ice cream was the most superb way to end the evening. I loved it so much that I went back to Izakaya Arata last night for a second try! I am proud to say I live a one of kind Hill in PE with such amazing eateries!

Found this restaurant by chance and i feel blessed, the broth is so good , i had miso chicken ramen, i think this is best ramen I’ve ever had.. the owner is Japanese , so authentic , this place really need more visitors if you tired eating African food

By recommendation from our B&B host, tried out this new place on Stanley street.An other little gem in this neighborhood nice modern Japanese food and not just sushi. Excellent variation of tastes, supper soft calamari etc.Good service, what do you want more!

The name means "new tavern" and we decided to try it out for dinner.The food is great, the prices are good, there is a good choice of wines "by the glass" and good service.Really not much more than one can ask from a restaurant.Will decidedly be back.

Lovely experience at this new restaurant on Stanley. Such interesting dishes and super tasty. Waiter was very attentive and we got delicious squid tentacles to taste. Would highly recommend it!
