Always a delight and never disappointed. Fine haute cuisine served at Homespun. World class food. Matt never ceases to amaze us. This is by far one of the best hidden gems in the Blouberg area. The food is always consistently excellent and service great.

HomespunThis place is absolutely awesome! The Atmosphere is warm and friendly with a dark eclectic theme. The staff are really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making customers happy is their main priority. The food that Chef Matt & his team turn out is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Big shout out to the bar staff. Excellent service and great cocktails. For sure the best meal we've ever had in Blouberg. Do yourself a favor and vist Homespun. Booking is essential as this restaurant is very popular. Highly recommend!

I visited my local fine dining restaurant Homespun last night after a long time due to the pandemic!! ??? It was like going home!! Everyone including the owner Matt was glad to see me!! I had my favourites!! Prawn dumplings!! Wow it was so delicious! Packed with in-depth flavours! This recipe has been enhanced and even exceeded my expectations!! Matt and Chris you definitely rock!! The cream brûlée blew me away!! It was magic on a plate!! Presentation was what one expects from a fine dining place like Homespun!! Guys I am glad to be back! Looking forward to the May specials!! Love you all and thank you for making us so welcome!!

5 of us, first time visit.We sat in a booth, it was cramped and uncomfortable.The staff were excellent and soon moved us at our request. We shared the tasting menu, it was very good.This is certainly fine dining, our only reservation was, the venue wasn't what we expected, more like a cafe's.Somehow for that price with wine R4000. We would have expected different. However we all enjoyed it, but not sure we would go again.

Matt really went out of his way accommodating our last minuet valentines plan, upon that, my first visit was beyond phenomenal! From the staff to the Ambiance, music, look & feel, and ofcourse the out of this world meals, just mind blowing!!Highly recommend to everyone. Its a must!

Due to the lockdown restrictions, we had to have an early dinner at my favourite local restaurant to celebrate my birthday! Every dish was a masterpiece!! Beautifully presented and thought provoking flavours!! The fish course was the highlight for me! The fish was cooked to perfection and every element on the plate balances in harmony with depth of flavour!! The service was attentive as always! Chris the head chef and Matt the owner popped by our table! Chris very intelligent cooking! Salute you!! Thank you very much for a special birthday dinner!! You guys rock!!

Simply superb! We had the 5 course tasting menu. The food was beautifully presented, had unique, subtle flavours! Excellent service, friendly and efficient! What a treat!Will definitely be back!

Wow, what an incredibly different and super special experience! I don't want to give too much away, but I can recommend paying Matt a visit for a experience you won't forget! Molecular gastronomy and fine dining shouldn't only be for the rich and famous, and thanks to Matt, we can all enjoy dinner and a show!

The service and the athmosphere were god, but I've been disappointed by the food.I've chose the tasting menu to get to try more combinations.I must say that the starter - the Caprese - good and far the best dish of the whole menu (excellent combination between the goat cheese and the beetroot). I fund the rest very disappointed and not to the standard of fine dining.The fish was dry and too salty, the crumb of the beef takami covered the taste of the meat which was tender, and none of the dessert were fine / sophisticated to me (I tried the chocolate torte, creme brulée and Pana cota).I'm happy to have tried it to make my own opinion, but I will not come back or recommend it.
