Hoekwil Country Cafe

The Hoekwil Country Café is a MUST visit when travelling the Garden Route! What an amazing and fun filled morning - enjoyed an awesome country breakfast which was rounded off with an amazing slice of salted caramel cheesecake. You will most certainly return for more laughter and the best cheesecake in South Africa!

We enjoyed two flavours of the cheesecake - both were very yummy. The service is also quick and everyone so friendly. The host loves to help guests with his knowledge of the area.

What a sweet little country cafe! We are so glad we took a slight detour to experience this spot! I had the Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake and my hubby had the Blueberry one - they were both exceptionally tasty and just so so good! I love a cafe that keeps it simple and delivers beyond expectation! Here in the small town of Hoekwil, lays the Hoekwil Country Cafe, with the best cheesecake and coffee you will ever find! Definitely recommended to anyone traveling on the Garden route - you will not regret popping in for a slice of heavenly cheesecake! There are different flavors and even an option for the healthy conscious- gluten & sugar free! Enjoy a cup of brewed coffee from locally roasted coffee beans while ordering a savory or sweet breakfast - all options are extremely delicious! I can’t wait until I find my way back to this cafe, it truly has the best KOEK IN DIE HOEK!

We had a breakfast and the most amazing mega cuppachino (house blend). For breakfast 'dessert' we has salted caramel cheesecake. Which is absolutely amazing, still the place for the best cheesecake on the Garden Route. The amazing blond host at Hoekwil Country Cafe who's name starts with a C you are amazing.

Had Belgian chocolate cheesecake and my husband had Blueberry cheesecake. They were both absolutely amazing. The waitress, Sophia, was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

As a group of 7 - popped in for tea, coffee and sodas. Service was great and our experience extended to include LOTS of cheesecake and milkshakes. A must do.

An amazing, quaint and peaceful country coffee shop where one is able to become “lost in time” whilst enjoying generous, and scrumptious, light meals, cakes (to die for), as well as a variety of hot & cold beverages!Definitely a new place that I’ll be frequenting! ??
