Friendly staff, excellent meal! It is part of Misty Waves were we stayed! We could just walk from our room!

Beautiful setting with a view and food made with love.. we had the Parisian gnocchi and kingklip served with a delicious lemon sauce

What an absolutely shocking experience. Not a place that one would recommend at all... All i can say is good luck?

On our latest stay at the Misty Waves Hotel, we decided to not just enjoy the breakfast that were included in our room, but to also have a lunch at the Heritage Restaurant. We ordered the Hake and Chips which was true value for money. The staff was very friendly and we were most impressed by their Covid-19 protocols. Tables were sanitised everytime someone used it, guests were asked to sanitise their hands as well and obviously asked to wear masks. The food was exceptional and we will recommend a visit to this restaurant to anyone. On a previous occasion when we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a dinner there, we asked for a Dom Pedro made with peppermint liqueur, which they didn't have, but they went out of their way to source it for us, and that is what I call great service!

A very popular restaurant a couple of hundred metres from the town centre but well worth a visit because the food is delicious and piping hot. Staff were very attentive and we already have a note to pop in next time we are in Hermanus.

Nice restaurant, limited menu choice. Very good food and service. Very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Called by on New Years Day and have to say I haven’t been treated so poorly when enquiring about a table as I was on this occasion. I was there with my wife and son for lunch and we arrived just after 12. On arrival I asked for a table and was told the place was fully booked, no pleasantries just a blunt “fully booked” and the gentleman then went and closed the door in my face. The irony was that all the tables outside (bar one) were empty, and those sat on the one table were so surprised by his response and my treatment that they asked what had happened. I don’t normally do this, however the way I was treated is not what I would expect and can only suggest to those of you considering this place that there are other places in Hermanus that provided us with a nicer welcome, and whee they couldn’t find space for us did this in a respectful way. On passing a couple of hours later having found a much nicer option I wasn’t surprised to still see many of the tables empty.

Lovely hake and chips, fish cakes and crepes. Wonderful hosts and a comfortable atmosphere! Recommended.

Basic mediocre breakfast, sometimes running out of selected items. Not very customer orientated; we avoided as far as possible.
