“Miss Siphathisiwe Moyo”

Great bar and good music.Best nachos in town, it was a pleasure meeting a superb bartender Charles he is good guy and l felt comfortable by him giving us great amplified service.

Service

“Not a great experience”

We entered, and were taken a very long and winding road to get to the outside area. Service was a bit slow, and the music blaring was not comfortable.We cut our visit short, and ordered tea and then left, not wishing to be ignored anymore. Took a short cut on the way out, instead of the long route!

“Fun place”

Had a pleasant night of drinks with a few nibbles here. The drinks were good and the location is great. Enjoyed.

“Birthday drinks”

Great service and atmosphere!We arrived late and still the staff were prepared to reopen the retail store to help us get some stuff.Dtinks were great!

“Cool artifacts”

Food and service was excellent. Interesting celebrity artifacts. The music was a bit disappointing, especially at that particular time of day. It was late afternoon and the music was more fitting for a club experience- not the expected classic rock you get to experience in other Hard Rock Cafe restaurants across the world.

“Great service”

Had some drinks and nibbles at hard rock, the selection of cocktails is really great and we recieved the best treatment ever from Nomfundo. Thank you we will definitely be back.

“Lunch”

Had a wonderful time. Our server Lulu was friendly and quite accommodating. The food was superb. The ambience is to die for

“Good stop off place in the square.”

Used the bar here, service was good as was the beer. Nice location just off the square, we sat at the bar which was good as we got good service. Music and atmosphere was excellent. I wouldn’t choose to eat here purely because there are other places nearby which are incredible however it’s a good spot for drinks.

After all the average and negative reviews I lowered my expectation quite a bit for Hard Rock Cafe. We decided to give it a try because it was part of the Entertainer app, and I am glad because while the food and venue were pretty decent, I think the prices were quite steep.

I had the pulled chicken Texan while my friend had the pulled pork version. My chicken one was much better, it was saucier and tastier. The pork was quite dry and didn't have as much smokey flavour. I enjoyed the crispy jalapeños and the chips that came with it were a bit salty but still good. I really loved the beans that came as a side, they were really different and tasted really good. The coleslaw was just watery and tasted a bit like soap.

Everyone else ordered burgers which were pretty good as well, they thoroughly enjoyed them. The cocktails were a bit sickly sweet, but I enjoyed the banana strawberry colada.
