Guido's Restaurant - Port Alfred

I am a sucker for a good pizza and Guido1s did not disappoint.The service was good and the pizza was done in good time and tasted great

Avarage quality, food Avarage, waiter friendly and efficient. A little run down due to Covid. Garnishing looked dry and and seemed to have spent a lot of time in the open waiting to be served

After following trip advisor ratings the three first restaurants were closed, which I I understand why , so I tried Guidos restaurant, excellent service with good food and great atmosphere.

Beyond impressed with the service! I went out on Sunday to celebrate my birthday and the bar man was so welcoming wished me happy birthday and bought me a cocktail on his own expense. Was so surprised that John went out of his way to do so. Absolutely over the moon to have gone there. Drinks were 10 out of 10, the food is always a 10 out of 10 and the service was 100 out of 100.

Even with the rainy weather , the setting for Guidos on the western bank of the Kowie River is superb . The pizza and the chicken & avocado salad ordered were excellent and great value

Went here with husband for a beer. Ordered myself a Guiness, to find out after drinking a bit, that it was expired. Horrible taste. We were sitting on the terrace, enioying the view while a man was taking a leak next to us. Not recommended.

Fantastic place for families with an indoor and outdoor play area for children. The fish was delicious and the pizzas very thin and crispy. We really enjoyed our lunch especially the mussels in the cheesy garlic sauce!

We come to Guidos every time we visit Port Alfred. Amazing location but the pizzas and service definitely let’s the place down. The pizzas were soggy and flavorless and the service was terrible on this visit.

This is the second time my wife and I have been to this restaurant and both times we had a fantastic experience. Sitting outside over the ocean while eating a seafood dish is amazing. The staff, service and food was fantastic as before. Keep up the good work and hope to see you guys next festive season.

Horrible place with poor service, burnt unappetizing food and the most arrogant and unapologetic Manager. We had a terrible experience and were served a burnt pizza! Will never go back to them and will never suggest their name to anyone.
