Fireroom - Montecasino

We have eaten at this restaurant many times and it's never a let down. They have opened a new overflow restaurant linked to them called FR reloaded. We were sceptical at first, but they didn't disappoint. The sushi was next level delicious with the new black rice they serve. Even though we arrived just before closing time the service we got from Kyle and Dorethy were exceptional.

Service was great everything was great. The sirloin steak was a let down and not good at all. Really expected more.

We went early evening with the kids and the atmosphere was good, food was delicious and the fun of the flames was there. The sushi was really excellent. The only thing preventing 5 stars was the waiter who asked for a tip three times, for service that was far from exceptional. Otherwise understandably busy.

No marinade just a delicious fillet on the bone flame cooked at my table ... just excellent beef cooked on the fire ! I did not even touch my peppercorn sauce as I did not want to spoil the flavour of the beef ! Served with tasty vegetables it was a treat of a meal ! Excellent attentive service ! I will be back before I leave SA !

First time here so decided to order the sushi platter. Best decision ever !!! A complete food experience. Combinations used are amazing and a burst of flavour in your mouth. Dennis, our waiter was very informative and friendly and explained and showed us pictures on a tablet of the food. Personal favorite was the Springbok rolls. Yum .

We've been there a few times and loved it every single time. I'm stuck on the Springbok Roses, can't resist not ordering them, they're that good.Then steak for Mains, with cranberry pepper sauce. Perfectly cooked. Really good service and generally great experience. Birthday boy got a special complimentary icecream, which he wasted no time devouring. Nice touch FR.

What a great dinner we had. The food is fantastic. The fire on the table just something else too experience. Will be back to taste the rest very soon.

Great eveningI am one of those people who never writes a review. But tonight I could not help it.The food at the Fireroom Monte casino is delicious the sushi on fire refreshingly different. Our waitress Sherry was excellent her knowledge of the menu and friendliness. Made our experience at the Fireroom great and we will be back for more.

A perfect setting inside the Montecasino - close your eyes and you are in old Italy! Modern and vibey with food specials shown on a tablet. The waitron was well informed and suggested good wine pairings with our food. We did not try the sushi, but from the smiles and happy faces around us, it appeared to be perfect.Both our starters and main dish were prepared to perfection and the fish can be recommended. A combination of fused flavours and an imaginative presentation made the dishes special. The wine menu represents some of the top South African and imported wines. Do not come for a quick snack. This deserves a special night out!
