Fahrenheit Seafood & Grill - Edenvale

We had the 1kg prawns and starters... The prawns were the most delicious prawns I've had in years!Considering the Covid situation, the level of service we received was above and beyond amazing. Kudos to the waiters and management for the great effort!

Organized my team's end of year function at this place in December 2019. Specifically picked it because their site mentioned gluten-free options and when I called, this was confirmed. Thought a steak and salad would be simple enough.We went in at lunch time. The place was not at all busy. Our waiter was rude and dis-interested - took forever to attend to us and was quite rude when I specified my gluten-free and dairy-free needs (I was the only one who needed a particular order; all others were normal orders). As I always do, I explained that I have a serious medical condition and would get very ill if my food was contaminated with gluten or dairy. The waiter seemed highly unimpressed. When the food arrived and after I had already started eating, I noticed crumbs of feta cheese in my salad, despite having specifically asked that no feta be added to my salad - it was obviously added and then removed as an after-thought instead of a new salad being made.When I brought it to the waiter's attention, he took the salad away without responding. The manager was then quite polite. The waiter continued to be obnoxious. The manager said they would compensate by taking my dish off the bill and giving free desserts to the others. I thanked him for this but explained that I was still going to be quite ill. The waiter then came tell us we could have the dish off the bill but no free dessert and continued with his rude behavior. If you have any sort of food issues, don't trust yourself to this restaurant. I was then very ill for the next three days. Thank you Farenheit.

Three generations had a good outing. The adults were all happy with their selections varying between seafood and steak. The kiddies chips were a little underdone but the seafood was good. We were seated outside and had full view of a well sized kiddies playing area. The service was great. It is a noisy atmosphere but thats expected at a family venue.

We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.The welcoming and friendly staff go out of their way to ensure that guests are happy and content.The variety of dishes are always well prepared and the prices are reasonable.The steaks,seafood dishes and burgers are recommended.Visit this eatery for a very pleasant and relaxed meal.

I find Fahrenheit in general, this and the one in Alberton very good and would recommend fro proiing, quality and service. Alberton my favourite though but not taking from Edenvale. You wont be disappointed.

Visited this popular restaurant on Monday for their 400 gram sirloin special. Service was good and we were quickly ushered to our table.My medium rare steak turned out to be well done. A good piece of steak but spoilt by the over cooking. My wife ordered well done and she got what she asked for.An average meal but I will try again in future with very specific instructions.

We went in as a group of 12, and ask for a change of seating so that we would not be in the crowd. this was done promptly and within 7 minutes we were re-seated in a more secluded area. We were served by Rocky (whom I mistakenly called Brian all day haha) and were served quickly and efficiently. Warning though should you have planned for a small starter, please ask what size it is. A lot of the starters were super large. My main meal was a steak.... cooked to perfection... I will be going back there again!

So, You're looking for a venue to either cater for a large group, family sit down or maybe even a first date. Fahrenheit is certainly a decent choice. You're welcomed by friendly staff at a well presented and clean venue. One has the option to sit inside the cosy covered areas where a feeling of being within an old wine house is felt or alternatively, take a seat outside to enjoy the good old South African summer sun all while watching your children enjoy themselves in the huge play area where there are staff minding children constantly. The menu is comprehensive and offers options for any pallet. The staff were ever so keen to assist with a specially made starter and main meal for my vegan wife which was a great personal gesture.Our waiter was phenomenal. Well presented, polite and even witty. All round, a good experience. Thank you Fahrenheit Edenvale for a lovely experience.

The menu selection is so diverse that there is bound to be something for everyone.Be it steak, chicken or seafood. In our group we ordered seafood, steak and chicken and everyone was well impressed and completely satisfied with their meals.
