Elements Café Bar @ The Beverly Hills Hotel

It took a complaint and 25 minutes to get a drink on the deck and much longer to get the bill Really poor service for what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, lovely setting but badly let down by the quality of service.

Pathetic food. Flat bread served RAW! Beef well over done after asking for medium. Prawns are tasteless and livers not spicy. A big 'screw you' attitude from the f&b manager. Maybe coz it's not clebreties you serve. 50minutes for basic meals are PATHETIC WAITING TIMES! PS TO THE F&B MANAGER: FOOD SHOULD NOT BE PREPARED TO YOUR LIKING, IT SHOULD BE PREPARED THE WAY IT SHOULD BE AT A 5 STAR HOTEL- NEVER EVER HAVE I BEEN SERVED RAW DOUGH AND THE MANAGER SAYS HE LIKES IT THAT WAY THAT'S Y HE SERVES IT!!!! We went to The Elements Cafe to celebrate my mother's birthday and had a fantastic meal. The menu is extensive. The view spectacular. Food scrumptious. The staff have been superbly trained so that all our meals arrived at the same time and plates were only cleared once everyone had finished eating. It was refreshing to see this standard of service. Special mention to Mzwa who was extremely attentive to a large table. We will most definitely return.

Just had another fabulous lunch at Elements! Portia our Waitron for the afternoon was charming and went out of her way to accommodate my dietary requirements that weren't part of a lunchtime menu. To finish the perfect Birthday lunch, my partner was surprised with a delicious cheesecake... lovely surprise! thanks x0x0

Beautiful view of the Indian Ocean, great ambiance and food.service was a bit slow although attentive. It was good to be back

Came here on a Sunday on my way to the airport. The menu is a bit limited but nonetheless caters for everyone. The waitresses are not as fully attentive as they should be. The male waiters were interested in flirting with the young ladies...I had the seafood pasta which was a half portion and very generous, do not venture into the full portion unless you are really hungry. Ambiance is great here and i always try and make sure that i stop over here when in Durban. I love the views and just the general vibe.

Just booked into Beverly Hills for a week. Not too hungry, but first meal at the coast has to be fish and chips. Popped into elements cafe for a late lunch of battered kingklip, pea puree and chips. One of the better plates of fish and chips that you will get. Beautiful moist fish in a light, crispy batter. Not oily at all. The pea puree was good, but the chips stole the show. Fantastic!Highly recommended. ????

We came here to celebrate with our friends for their 55th anniversary. We were very impressed with everything and would like to give our waitress Nomtha a special mention for her attentive service. Fabulous experience fabulous food.

Perfectly presented, delicious cocktails. And the calamari had a perfectly crisp tempura batter and was also done to perfection. Pretty much a perfect afternoon, also a huge thanks to Stanford for the perfect service.
