Dizzy's Restaurant & Bar

Dizzy's is off the waterfront strip in Camps Bay. They are known for their pizzas and they did not disappoint. The pizzas are extremely thin crust. You can order a traditional crust or a special low carb mix, which is a bit more expensive, but a good option if you are avoiding carbs. My partner and I had one of each. We both were very pleased with our pizzas. There is a wide selection of toppings and they provide a chopped garlic sauce and hot chili pepper sauce to add to the pizza. They normally have cocktails, but during COVID there is only beer and wine. The beer selection, however, was good. I had an IPA which I enjoyed. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We got good seats outside as we got there pretty early, but the place started to fill up quickly, so you might want to come a bit early if you want to dine in. They also do takeaway.

We were in Camp’s Bay for a week in February and Dizzy’s quickly became our favourite establishment in the area. The staff were so friendly and good humoured. They never got irritated by the constant stream of people coming in looking for The Codfather which is situated next door with very poor signage. The atmosphere is one of easy laid back hospitality. We would sometimes sit inside in the back bar which felt like a traditional English pub or, on hotter evenings we’d sit at an outside table and watch the world go by. We had some of their delicious pizza baked in a proper pizza oven when we were peckish. It was just the place we gravitated towards most evenings for a night cap where we always felt welcome.

Been coming here for 20 yrs and it’s as good as always! Pizzas are ACE and staff are incredibly friendly.

The staff and service is great for a cheep beer in camps bay. The food is good too. If you’re looking for an informal meal. We were disappointed to see that they have sold off half their bar. It’s lost that local bar feel from home. But they seem to be busier for it. A good place to go all round if you’re in the area and not wanting to pay over the odds for camps bay.

Easy atmosphere, really friendly waitress, good food. Service was good - enabled us to eat with no stress and get to our show.

Lovely food, we visited new year day, party of 8 and the food and the service was very good, we also popped in another couple of nights and had a pizza in the bar area.

We ate here on new years day after a chill out day. The pizza was great. we loved the laid back friendly atmosphere so much we poped in most days and evenings whilst we were in town.

Spent a few hours here after stopping in for a drink. Which turned into a meal (hamburgers). Staff and food were great.

We were just looking for somewhere easy to eat before the beach. I thiught that would be super easy but everywhere along the beachfront looked like a massive tourist trap with people waving menus out the front. This place was fine but expensive for what you get. Would not go back or redomend. Worth noting renovations were happening at the time so maybe the kitchen was under more strain than usuall

Very fine thin crust pizzas, good friendly service and very reasonable prices. Your not going to find a better pizza in Camps by.
