Great food served at this restaurant. There are such a big variety of choices to choose from on the menu. Every time when we are in Pretoria , we visit this restaurant .

Wow what a great steak, and our waitress Mari was awesome too, after seeing the de constructed T-bone on TV decided to try it for myself, and really can recommend it to all steak lovers out there

There is no contest: Crawdaddy's is the best Seafood Restaurant in Pretoria, and possibly even in Gauteng. I have been to every one of Crawdaddy's franchises, and I can honestly confirm that quality, standards and freshness remain consistent throughout.Although Seafood is their primary speciality, the well varied menu caters to every single taste and preference. Since our family and friends are divided between meat, poultry and seafood lovers, Crawdaddy's is the perfect comprise where everyone has a variety of choices and leaves satisfied and satiated. From starters to burgers, steaks, chicken, curries, chowders, stir-fries to desserts, we've never once been disappointed. Being a seafood enthusiast, I highly recommend anyting on offer. Oyster lovers who appreciate alternatives to classic, unadorned oysters, will greatly enjoy the New Orleans Oysters, topped with sour cream, fine tomato salsa, salmon slivers and fresh dill: a perfect melange of acidity, creaminess, decandence and zest without taking away from the delicate oyster taste.After many years of being a frequent and loyal patron, I have found these the most satisfying dishes:Starters: Carpaccio, Chicken Livers, Moroccan Beef Strips, Crawchows (!), Beef & Camembert Bruschette.Steaks: Rump Rossini, Jalapeño Steak. Meat purists will be happy to learn that steak portions may be ordered in greater weights of up to 1kg.Curries & Chowders: Mike Killian's Prawn Curry, Crab Curry, Crab & Prawn Chowder.Seafood Platters are well worth the money and portions are generous. A fully stocked bar, fair wine variety, cocktail selection and a small variety of draft beers ought to quench every thirst.If you haven't been to Crawdaddy's, you've been shorthanding yourself. A firm favourite!

How often does it happen that we consider the list of happy-meal-restaurants on the spur of the moment and then we eventually end up at Crawdaddy's in WaterGlen? It does not matter what you order, you know it will great-tasting. My kids, my wife and inlaws always order a version of the many steak dishes and I must admit, the basting sauce is something to die for, when done properly. I have also tried the Portuguese chicken, the whole kingklip, prawns and many more and all of them were really so tasty and well-prepared. Prices are actually very reasonable and you won't easily find a steak that is more affordable in Pretoria. My youngest is still going to try their 1kg steak at some stage....

The food was delicious. The service was also great. Book in advance as the good seats are mostly taken.

Went here with my friends whilst visiting Pretoria-the food was awesome ( I had the de-constructed t-bone) and a mint crips thick shake-amazing food and amazing staff-cant fault this place at all and I will be back when I return to South Africa

Be sure to visit This Pretorian institution. Its a bit old fashioned, but the food is consistent, big portions, great value for money and the waiting staff are all pros.

Nice place to sit and relax, eat and drink. I had Roquefort salad but was not impress with that. Not much cheese and sauce. Other starters look more delicious. Steak was perfectly cook.

The service was very good! The steaks were good but the baked chocolate milkskake that promised so much was a disaster. Not close to what was mentioned on the menu. The salted caramel was non-existant, the chocolate volcano was not good, it was a piece of chocolate cake more than anything else.

The friendly staff welcome you and let you drinks come fast. The Rump and T'bone steaks is superb and soft and juicy, with nice chips. Very good service and vibe.
