Col'Cacchio - Cavendish

The location is convenient as its in a mall so there is plenty of parking space. We were sharing pizza. It was good that they cut it in half so each person had their own plate. Good service and good food.

Three of us visited for supper on Saturday evening. The place was pretty empty, which was surprising. We ordered a salad to share, two pizzas and a carb-friendly dish; a glass of wine, water and a smoothie. Despite their being few other patrons, the food took quite long to reach us; the salad particularly so. And while the pizzas were okay, they were not up to Colcacchio usual standard. Dessert ordered was: Italian kisses dark chocolate and nuts and tiramisu which the waitron recommended. The tiramisu never arrived - they’d run out (but remember it was recommended). The Iti kisses: no dark chocolate - they’d run out. Makes one wonder whether Colcacchio Cavendish is heading for closure like its namesake in Hermanus?

As it’s in a shopping center, it’s access is easy. The menu is vast & offers a good variety of salads & general Italian food.Service is pleasant & usually quick .Some dishes are tasty while others need salt. Choose wisely as it can taste like a “fast food” shop.

Friendly staff, great food choices. I like the paper table cloths and the crayons for the kids to keep busy. My son and i play hangman on them all the time

Eating at a mall usually does not elicit a great response from me.Col’Cacchio turned out to be a great choice. We both had pasta dishes that were really delicious and filling too. The gluten free pasta was also very good. I appreciated that very much as restaurants seem to battle with this.A nice selection of wines too. Service was prompt and friendly.Good enough to entice me to go shopping in future - albeit with an ulterior motive!

Have always lived the pizzas and salads at Col'cacchio and have been eating here since they opened their first branch in Cape Town many years ago. Still our go to place for pizzas...imaginative toppings and our favourite...Nacho Libre!!

The pizza I received was of poor quality. It was burnt, dry, and disproportionately cut. Officially the worst Margherita I have ever had.

During load shedding we wanted a cup of coffee. We went to colcacchio Claremont. The waitress was not very helpful. We wanted a large cappuccino she said they dont have yet it was on the menu. When my coffee came it was so cold that I could drink it in one go. I was so annoyed that I just drank the coffee.The table was wobbly and they said it cannot be fixed. I asked for serviettes to stabilize the table and the waitress gave me lip.We moved to another table. I'm not impressed with their service

Table of 2 we were seated quickly and given menu's. Cool drinks were delivered quickly. We had on small lunch veg pasta which was very good (R60) and one meatballs and pasta, normally good but a little disappointing today (R 105) too much liquid.Total bill R 220. Good value

Had a quick lunch with a friend.Shared salad, pizza and a bottle of wine.Wonderful fresh ingredients served with a smile.Always reliable
