Cilantros - Sandton

We went to Cilantros for a nice quiet Birthday Lunch.The service was great!The appetizer bread is very delicious!We had the Kebabs and a Salmon salad.The Kebabs were very goodThe salmon Salad was also very appetizing.But both dishes were overly priced for the portion size, not to mention that the salad was practically just a bowl of leaves with 4 Slices of Avo, 4 pieces of Cucumber, and 4 rolled up pieces of Salmon.

This restaurant has a great selection of local seafood on their menu. I choose the kingklip with a lemon sauce and was able to top up my order with some grilled queen prawns, very nice dinner indeed. Great service though, my waiter provided excellent attentive service and had a good knowledge of the menu and the seafood on offer.

My waitress brought me a wine list when requested and then disappeared for 15 mins while I waited to order a glass of wine. No sense of urgency at all. Food took a long time and place not particularly busy and meal was prawns so very quick to cook.

I had two of the small plate plus fries. The fries were great. The rest of the food was extremely dry and over cooked, Part of the problem was the low budget choice of tentacles and chicken strips. I have seldom had such a poorly prepare small plate in my life. The restaurant does nor deserve its premium positioning. The only positive was the excellent hostess.

We had three tapas for lunch. Service was excellent. The tapas were tasty but small for the price. Very nice wine list with cello selection

This restaurant had an amazing ambiance even though there were parents with their children in that restaurant. The service was on point and our waiter was not over the topic with checking on us, like some waiters do when they really are trying their utmost to get a decent tip at the end of the meal. He was very respectful and quite chatty. My husband and I had a fantastic, romantic supper. The food was fresh, exceptionally prepared, thus I have no complaints on that front. The price of the food was reasonable in my opinion.

Lovely location in Nelson Mandela Square, but the tapas (carnivore plate) was mixed. The pork ribs weren’t thoroughly cooked, nor was the chicken. Service was good.

Located in the beautiful Mandela Square in Sandton City, you can enjoy plenty of different tapas, good fish and meat. The dishes are quite big some tapas can be shared, good wines, ratio quality/price good

Well Compared to next Door that Septimo stay away from that so Called Fly by Night s Bad Service no stock Restaturant.Back to An Amazing Experience at My Fav and Only True Meditranean Eatry Septimo Can Learn how to Cook THey SEptimo are a Bunch of Clowns.Starters are to Die for From The Squid Heads to the Bruchetta now this is Italian.Service with a Smile and THe Best Wine at a Very Resonable price.To sum it up i give Cilantros a 8 out of 10.
