“Customer Service Nightmare”
Primary focus of this establishment is to gain as much from the customer without providing the value for money paid. Not recommended!

“A Lovely little Coffee shop”
This is a tiny coffee shop that is best visited during off peak times. It is hidden a way so you might miss it! It has delightful treats. The service can vary, I have had excellent service and at times it has been a bit slow. Go off peak to get the best. You used to be able to get macrons, not sure if they are still so good!!

“Great coffee shop!”
Went there with friends for breakfast - and was pleasantly surprised! Does not look like much from the outside but inside has such an inviting vibe! Lovely decor and delicious food. Had omelette with caramelized onions, tomatoes and avo. Be prepared to wait a bit for the food to arrive , but when it does it is worth it! Will be back

“Pleasant outdoor experience”
We visited this lovely coffee shop for a light lunch and coffee. The location is lovely amidst the nursery. I enjoyed the shop decor and colors. Our waiter was friendly and his service was good. My Flat bread with feta, olive, sundried tomato and caramelized onion was lovely. Would love to go back for the sweet treats, they looked delicious!

“Lovely Outdoor Dining”
The outdoor seating on the veranda is lovely, tucked away between roses, succulents and other nursery plants on sale. Outside tables are large - perfect for bigger groups. They also have a few two seater tables both inside and out. There is a kids play area with tables close by for parents to keep an eye on the children. We have visited the restaurant a few times. Some of the menu items are not always available. Some of the dishes are a little pricey, though they have regular specials. Portions are a good size. The carrot cake is lovely (they will gladly share a piece for you and serve the shared pieces separately - cake slices are generous and rich). Cappuccinos are good and they use quality coffee. Service is not always great, but doable. Those with green fingers will love browsing the nursery for succulents and other plants. A hidden little spot just outside of town. Quality crockery and cutlery.

“Disappointing 2nd visit”
My first visit was with a few friends and we had breakfast the Saturday morning. This was very enjoyable and as we had a meeting the next day decided to visit the restaurant again. This time it was quite disappointing. Not one of the items that we tried to order was availbable and two of the guests decided on settling for croissants. After quite a long time we enquired what is taking so long and we were informed they were busy baking the croissants. When it finally arrived it was burnt and we unfortunately had to return the orders settling for milkshakes instead. We did receive an apology from the waitress and informed we will not be charged for the orders. I would think twice before returning to this establishment in future.

“Pricey but still well worth a visit”
Second time at this establishment but it is as the heading states. Located to the east of Pretoria (but not far out) the Chocolat et Cafe is worth the time taken to visit. The menu is varied and interesting and the presentation of food is a delight to see. Do not be “put off” by the name of the establishment - there are exciting breakfast and savory dishes to be ordered! As stated - well worth a visit.

Lovely cafe with a nice ambience and interesting menu. Quality of food was great and it was presented beautifully
The best Belgian waffles in Pretoria!!! Served with chocolate ganache, marmalade and lemon curd, honeycomb and Belgium chocolate brownies, cream cheese mousse, gelato and strawberries. What a lovely restaurant located at a new hipster spot in Waterkloof.
