Chico's & Driftwood Bar at Wild Coast Sun

What is the point of booking at Chinos and when you get there you have to stand in a long queue!! Spoke to the lady at the till regarding our booking, not interested in the fact that we book. Covid rules the excuse??? Rubbish!!! People was stand on top of each other with no social distancing! Total waste of time and money to get there, had to pay at the gate and left 15min later. Buffet was sadly one of the worst we ever ate. Staff are absolutely unfriendly. All the roasts were very dry, not much side dishes to go with them. Lamb curry was full of bones. Desserts were dry and tasteless. Very disappointed. I do not recommend at all

Stood in ridiculously long lines for breakfast. Not much options for Vegan and vegetarian. Waited way too long for service

Offer a good variety at breakfast. Very clean and great service. I definitely recommend you try the waffles. They are so yum.

We only had breakfast as it was part of the accommodation package. Average choice of food, but the quality can be better. It just feels that because it’s part of a package, not much effort is going into the preparation. After 2 days it can become boring and then something else is not available. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

We stumbled on the Sunday buffet because we were waiting to check into our room. Good selection of food with chicken and beef being the roasts. Delicious lamb curry. Nice selection of desserts. Nothing to tempt me but the seven year old went back for a fifth piece of Black Forest cake.

Yoh, I don't know if it's the Covid 19 rules but the food variety was absolutely dismal to say the least. I have been to the buffet dinner many times before but on Tuesday I was very disappointed. So much so that I didnt even go for seconds. The desserts were a joke a orange and strawberry mousse and fruit salad and a horrible black forest cake. I took one bite of each and left the rest pn the plate. No it's not worth the R185. I suggest you go maybe next when things are back tp normal.

We often visit the Wild Coast Sun and the breakfast buffet at Chicos never fails to disappoint. Pat Dlephu and her team are always charming, friendly and go the extra mile to ensure that all diners have a pleasant dining experience. Great variety sure to please all palates.One small disappointment though is that there is no savoury mince or chicken livers - their chicken livers was always a huge hit!

Absolutely disappointed with this place. Breakfast is a disaster here! Restaurant filled to capacity which is wrong especially during covid times. Queues upon queues for eggs, toast, juices etc. People are literally standing on top of each other with no policing from the Chicos staff. After seeing this...we were definitely not comfortable and being exposed. We got up from our table and left! Never to return ! Don't waste ur time.

The breakfast at Chico’s is excellent and offers a variety of options we enjoyed breakfast . The dinner however was not so pleasant . We arrived after 8pm and was rushed by the staff as they closed at 9pm . That’s ridiculous as we were on vacation and expect to have dinner at leisure .
