Apart from the great weather on the day, the food was excellent, tasty and good value for money. The service was snappy, friendly and efficient! The overall experience was superb and we will definitely visit again.

A excellent place to have a beer and a meal. We really enjoyed the food and the staff were extremely friendly. Definitely a place that we will visit again.

One of the most excellently prepared delicious meals my family and I have enjoyed recently. The chef truly has a midas touch. The service from the waiter was also very friendly. Highly recommended.

Our group of six went for dinner on Friday evening. Staff friendly and efficient. Most of us had seafood in some form or another, as we felt that we are in the West coast. The fish and calamari was just average and one meal was cold. We were expexting a bit better. One person had a burger and this was a winner. Medium rare and very tasty. Pity about the seafood. I had one of their in house beers,which was good.We enjoyed the evening, maybe next time we should try something else on the menu.

I know we have just come out of lockdown but took forever to just get served and 15 mins to get out drinks. Waitress had a terrible attitude. Don't recommend at all!

Having enjoyed Russell's two days running, we opted for a lighter, bistro lunch en route home. Beers delicious, food tasty

Huge menu but lots of different choices from different countries. As well as South african snoek pate, we enjoyed trinchado, mussels (they were ex), fish cakes. Could have opted for burgers or ciabatta, salads. Helpful service. Also had a gin tasting next door (same proprietor). Not so great. A lack of knowledge meant we did not get the optimum for our R120 for a tasting of 4 gins between 2. Interesting experience but we all thought too expensive to buy a bottle at R420.

Had yummy beef pie and veg yesterday. Sorry, forgot take pics, but will go back next time I am up there ... or Russel's, which I have heard so much about.

We popped in for light lunch.It was not a good start to have to walk to the servers to see if they were even open...However the cappuccino was awesome, as were the fish cakes and salad and the veggie burger.The food won us over, and I'd go back. Just don't expect snappy service.
