Outstanding service from the second we walked in! Nothing was too much effort, everything we asked for was attending promptly and efficiently. The food was amazing and everybody’s Choice of meal came out together and we had a table of 26 people ! Thank you to all the amazing staff who really went out of their way to make us feel totally at home and completely looked after! A brilliantly run restaurant and it shows that the management run a very efficient business! Thank you for allowing us to have a stress free day to celebrate our nieces 21st!

A lovely veneu that is beautifully decked out.The food is to die for.My daughter had the "Quick Stop" and enjoyed it.Our waitress Abaigail was friendly and catered to our needs.I would come back anyday because their lunch according to Abigail is a mustSee you soon!

We were there for dinner on Thursday night for the first time. We had the most outstanding meal and service. The setting was lovely too. We had the salmon teriyaki which was out of this world. My criticism would be that the wine list options are very limited with it being very expensive. They need to have more affordable good wine.

Been a couple of times and the food is always outstanding!Lovely setting, you wont be disappointing.

My wife and I had dinner downstairs before a book launch in the resturant's upstairs venue afterwards. Upstairs I ordered 2 glasses of “house” wine – red and white. When presented with the wine initailly no invoice was available, "system was offline"? After the event was over, went to pay the bill. Was absolutely shocked to find out that they took the MOST expensive bottle wine and gave us each a glass the red wine glass cost R 110 , white R 85 if I remember correctly.Downstairs we had , had wine costing R 140 per bottleI think this is despicable and I told the manager so – totally ripping us offIf ever there is another meeting at the Rock , I will unfortunately not accept on principle, I do not know how many others were ripped off ?

Overall experience was spectacular!!! If you are looking for a romantic,tapas, fun or tasteful evening this is the place. The service, food, atmosphere and drinks were all divine. I cannot wait to go back with a group of friends for a fun evening. Oh also the private rooms are AMAZING. work functions would be a lot of fun :-) my favs were, the sushi dishes, halloumi, fish cakes and the margaritas :-) My boyfriend really enjoyed the meat dishes and raved about the pork belly. Our waiter Themba was an absolute gem and knew exactly what he was doing and was extremely knowledgeable on the wines, food and cocktails. THANK YOU AND SEE YOU SOON .
