Cafe I'Thai

We decided to try Cafe I’Thai after many recommendations. We where not disappointed. The Restuarant is very cozy and has a nice feel to it. The dumplings and spring roles where great. We had the Crab Curry, Prawn Curry and Prawn pad Thai. All very enjoyable and tasty. We will be back.

Very large portions of Thai food. Tasty and well presented. Booking is essential as space is limited inside but well worth it. Take your own wine.

Had a fantastic bday celebration last night at a quirky little restaurant in Benoni with wonderful personalised service from Juan, the owner. Juan’s wife is Thai and oversees all the cooking, which explains why each dish we had was 100% authentic! From the starters of Tom Yam Gung, prawn cakes, mussel omelette and fresh prawn springrolls to the mains of Oxtail green curry, Pad Ga Prao (with minced pork and a fried egg on top) and red curry, everything was an authentic Thai taste sensation. Benoni may be a trek away from Midrand, but I will definitely be visiting again!

This place is the best for Thai food in the East. They also accomodate for Vegans and vegetarians. Special treatment from the owners with good service.

We ordered starters of scallops to die for and pork dumplings. Both were great especially the scallops. Main we decided to share and ordered beef curry crispy noodle. Also yummy if you don't like very hit stick with medium

Visited for the first time and what a joy. Good Thai food and very friendly service. You can bring your own wine and they will charge a R20 corkage. Prices very reasonable and we surely will be back!

We had a family get together to celebrate a birthday, what a great surprise, real authentic thai cuisine. The food is best Thai I have had and i have had a lot of thai around the world. The service was outstanding, the owners and staff are fantastic and make you feel like you are part of the family and the food, out of this world. I would highly recommend Cafe I Thai for those who are serious about Thai food, you will not be disappointed.Guy's, thanks for such a memorable day,

When the waiters take your order you'll get a good feel of the experience in Thailand, the accent strong but the manager is keen to help translate. The food still good, still no liquor license which makes it nice to bring your own drinks with a low corkage fee. Service was a little bad this time round but not a train smash. ...as per last time, best you make a booking.

i discovered this restaurant which is located just nearby northmead mall. Being a fan of thai cuisine, i went there to test.i took a pad thai and it is done like in thailand ,spice being adjusted to your taste.The cook is a woman from Chiang Mai and cuisine is really a local one.Will come back to test various different plates with friends and wife.Highly recommended if you like real thai
