Bushveld Terrace Restaurant

We booked this place mainly because of the great reviews. We booked a game drive and boat cruise through Thuli. Nothing was booked and she did not let us know of that fact. She had encouraged us to make a reservation for dinner on the day we arrived, when we got to the restaurant, no reservation was made for us. Utterly disappointed with this place and now everything we wanted to experience is fully booked. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Service also extremely slow.

The restaurant was amazing, it was beautiful and the food was excellent. We ate there for 4 nights and each meal was wonderfully delicious.

Beautiful place. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff! The omelette was perfect and the coffee good. The staff showed us the rooms - beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends.

Great place to relax with your family. The food was nice and the staff is so greatfull. The place is also situated in very good position close to Kruger National Park

Went here 3 times in the last week for lunch as we were impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Prices are pretty good too.

Great dinner on the terrace under a big tree and next to a bonfire. Excellent kudu fillet served with a delicious apricot sauce. The wine was really good and served in an ice bucket. The waitress was really friendly and proactive. A great experience

Perfect bushveld hospitality on the border of the Kruger gate in Phalaborwa. Excellent facilities and accommodation, and the restaurant comes highly recommended. Beautiful ambience and attention to small details.

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch and dinner. The location is beautiful, from the entrance to the service. Lover the variety the menu had and truly enjoyed their " Salt and pepper calamari. "Thank you for the beautiful meal and experience, my family and I will be back soon.

Not too many options for dinner on a Sunday night so came here. Attractive setting but we did not particularly enjoy the simple meal. Ordered lamb chops medium rare - arrived very rare indeed covered in a lot of sauce. Sent them back for further cooking but made little difference as they were still pretty rare the second time round. Husband ordered a main course salad and asked if the dressing was on the side which the waitress said it was and that she'd make a specific point. Salad arrived completely smothered in dressing, with a jug of more dressing on the side. When asked for feedback at the end of the meal we explained that it was not really satisfactory as neither dish was as ordered. Waitress took no action. They are not listening to customers as I imagine they are used to getting plenty of passing trade as they are right by Kruger gate.

Spent here a dinner with friends before entering the Kruger the day after. Food is really tasty and there is a play area for kids. People is really professional.
