“Milkshake heaven”
Enjoyed a chocolate milkshake and bobotie pie for breakfast. Extensive menu and an even longer milkshake menu. Touch farm on site and loads of pies, quiches, brownies and farm produce for sale as well. Cosy patio area and also tables in the garden. A super find and we will definitely be back to work down the menu!

“Burger and Milkshake lunch”
Set in forest surrounds with a kiddies play park. The burgers were outsize and tasty and the milkshake flavours offered were really different. A lovely venue to enjoy a leisurely lunch

“Relaxing morning in a garden setting”
Great food and service, loved the way the menu was presented. You get given the menu with a black marker and you tick off the blocks next to each item that you want, a fun way of doing thingsFood was very tasty and well presented. The restaurant has a small animal farm and play area for children

“What a lovely, relaxing and special little haven.”
The area's most delightful place for wonderfully fresh food, a relaxed atmosphere and interesting decor. Adele Terblanche, the owner, is very hands on in making sure that the food is perfect and that the customers are happy. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the trip out there for a coffee, milkshake or a meal, is well worth making.I find it incredibly narrow minded that a fellow reviewer would give such a mean review because she was not able to eat her take away meal at one of the tables. In any restaurant that I know of, the small extra cost of sitting down at a table, taking up a space that has to produce an income for the hardworking owner and waiting staff, using the cutlery and crockery, that have to be washed by someone that works for a salary and enjoying all that the coffee shop and surrounding gardens offer, is well worth it. I have been to that shop many times and Adele is the kindest and most caring proprietor I've ever come across.

“Divine Design My Own Vegan Salad & Bread”
Bread & Brew have an excellent system where you make your personalised selections from a wide variety of salads, breads, extra toppings by simply ticking off what you'd like. The beautifully prepared items are then delightfully served. My plate of salad, bread and other toppings was so delicious I could have licked the plate clean! The cosy restaurant area set in a park like area with donkeys in the field, chickens wandering around and is most relaxing. There is plenty of parking. Bread & Brew also sells a locally made and eco-friendly in their shop section. As it's just off the N2 at The Crags near the BP Atlantic Filling Station, it is very easy to stop on your journey for a wonderful relaxing treat!

“Well worth it!”
Recommended by local friends and pleasantly surprised by friendly staff and out in the garden under the trees with animal attractions, including unusual feathered friends, donkeys, monkeys, rabbits, peacock and goats. Good value for money and excellent service.

“Pleasantly surprised!”
We stumbled on this little gem while on a search for braai supplies from Stormsrivier. We walked in initially going to the superette and decided to stay for some food. This spot has the cutest vibe and a 'make-your-own' menu. The service was attentive and respectful, if not the chattiest, but the food was lovely and made with love! Really recommend if you're looking for a decent sandwich/breakfast in the area!

“Worst Owner Attitude Ever”
Stopped in for a coffee and a bite to eat. Sausage rolls, quiche and pies looked great but when we wanted to have them at the outside tables, we were told that there was an extra charge of R10 per item. I informed the waiter to call the manager over to which I assume the lady owner came to us. I explained that I was going to purchase 4 of the R25 quiches but the extra charge of R10 per quiche was not a great policy and she would then lose my business. That's when the "Crazy" kicked in. She shouted at me saying that I have a bad attitude and that she would have to pay to wash the dishes and that's why the extra charge. She then told us to leave and get out of the place and shouted to the people working in the shop and the cafe not to let us buy anything and not to serve us. WOW. Upon leaving she followed us out to our car and took a picture of our car and us and banned us from the place for life... I have never seen or experienced that level of attitude in my life and it's clear that this woman shouldn't be within a thousand yards of a customer.

“Must do!”
Maybe the best stop for coffee at a gas station ever. Great coffee and fantastic cakes. Lovely gardens so sit outside with a bunch of animals. Not easy to see but definitely worth looking.
