“Delicious waffles and great beer”
Lovely locally brewed Belgian style lager. The waffles are delicious, bring your appetite or go for the Kalfie. Great views and service.

“Impeccable Service :-)”
This is by far the Best Waffles ever, if you can't find anything here according to your taste then nothing will satisfy you. Eddy is the Best Manager/Waiter, service is so fast even when this place is queuing and he still have time for a joke or 2. Well done Eddy and Team, will definitely be back again and again.

“Waffles”
Used to love this place, has lost its ambiance since Belgium ladies sold the business. Service not nearly as professional as before. Previous owners were very hands on. New owners not involved in day to day.running of the business.Waffles ordered were very doughy and were mediocre. Not sure we will be back soon, such a pity

Hello. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience.The owners are very involved in running The Belgian. We are not sure where you got this information from? Please let us know.The shop as well as the menu has been greatly improved since being bought over. The waffle recipe however is still the exact same. We wouldn't dare change the deliciousness of those waffles.We do hope you visit again and give the new owners a fair chance.

“Make this a priority if you like waffles”
I am not particularly fond of waffles as I cannot imagine having a waffle as a savoury treat. However these waffles are just the best: whether you have it as a main meal or as a desert. Only issue here is they dont serve any non alcoholic beers: get with the times please.

“We have been here so many”
We have been here so many times and not once disappointed. Michaela is super friendly and has a sharp sense of humor. The food is great and you can definitely try Liefmans, personally my favorite

Wonderful spot this is, the selection and quality of the beers is of the highest standards in the world. The customer service is impeccable. The ladies from Belgian that are running this place add quality and value to South Africa.

“What a little gem!”
These two ladies run a stunning little pace with stunning creative dishes. Anything on a waffle! Also really good Belgium beers!

“Best waffles for sure”
their waffles and milkshakes are amaziiiiiing! we tried the strawberry and chocolate, and the apple and cinamon.......yum!!!

“Sweet and Sour”
Excellent Service and Excellent Food... It’s not fine dining but the food is tasty and filling and just makes you want to eat more and more and more...I had the mince with my waffles and it was too too good to be true....Can’t wait to go back
